Only 60 steps from the stunning Siesta Key Public Beach, this freshly remodeled 2-bedroom apartment with a DEN is your perfect coastal retreat.

The DEN is a fantastic option for two additional guests, offering a comfortable queen bed. While it provides a cozy and inviting space, please note that it is only partially private and cannot be fully enclosed to maintain proper air circulation for the AC. As such, it is not considered a true bedroom, but it’s a great choice for extra sleeping space in a pinch!

Spanning 1,200 sq/ft, this ground-floor suite comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests with a king bed, a queen bed, and an additional queen bed in the DEN.

Im rating this property fair to make sure potential renters take the complaints of the noise from the upstairs apartment seriously. The property would get 5 star's for location, very convenient to the beach. The apartment was clean, well apointed with everything you need in a small kitchen, with the exception of refrigerator is very tiny. The living space appears larger in the pictures. We were 4 adults and 1 child a little tight.Note to the owner the bathrooms need towel racks or hooks to hang towels, the showers need a shelf or caddies, no place to put anything we used the window sill in the little bath. It would help to have tvs in all the bedrooms, to help drown out the noises from upstairs.

Perfect stay!

What a charming townhome! Everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone enjoyed themselves and were very comfortable! Aside from the townhome being amazing, the location is top notch!! Walking distance to everything! Steps from the beach and lovely walk to the pier area with food and shops. Also, very easy townhome to find for grocery deliveries! The locals are all very friendly and knowledgeable! 10/10

Beach Access at its Best

Came for a wedding weekend - quick in and out and couldn’t have asked for a better location with such close proximity to the beach. We were very impressed the property was in great condition given the two hurricanes that came through this season. We also enjoyed the downtown area and would love to go back for a longer stay.

This was the second property we’ve rented at Gumbo Limbo and we’d definitely rent again. The property is excellent and the proximity to the beach and village is awesome!! Trolley even stops at the intersection! I would highly recommend this to anyone!!

Fantastic week. Beach was beautiful no red tide this time, ocean was beautiful clear and warm for this time of year. The condo was exactly as described it was perfect for our needs. We chose this condo for location we knew it was an easy walk across the road to the beach and casual 15-20 minute walk from the condo to all the eating and entertainment. In the evenings very nice communal pool to round off the evening if so desired. I would highly recommend this condo if sharing with two couples and has the option of third bed if needed. The only negative I have is the one bathroom is very compact particularly the commode being so close to the wall on the window side made it very challenging for anyone to sit on the toilet seat.

Loved this VRBO! Virginia's GUMBO LIMBO area is in an A+ spot on Siesta key and our "Island Suite" was to the 9s. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Short but great stay!

The condo was very clean and spacious. Easy walk to a beautiful beach which despite being public felt private. The weather didn’t cooperate a couple of days but the kids loved swimming in the heated pool. You can walk to the Siesta Key village in about 15 minutes or take one of the trolleys. We loved the convenience of the trolleys which pick you up 100 feet from the condo. The owner is very responsive to communications as well.

Wonderful little apartment in the best location!

Amazing location, accurate listing, easy communication, ample parking, decent space size for our group, great communal backyard space, and right across from the beach. Just wish there were a few more basic household items to last our stay, otherwise no complaints.

Ladies trip

Room and property was very nice, clean and only 1 block from the beach. Good beds, good air condition, close to town with restaurants and shops. Free Siesta key trolley stop right outside our building. Beach chairs and umbrellas were a nice perk included with our stay. Property manager was very nice and receptive, always responding quickly to any questions. The only complaint we had was thin walls and the upstairs guests keeping it very loud for most of the nights we were there, hard to sleep with the stomping and loud conversation. Not sure if that is something you can change though. Check out time could be a little later

Very clean and comfortable property. Just a half block walk to the beach. They provide beach chairs and umbrellas for time on the beach. Beautiful pool area to relax in. Close proximity to the fun downtown area. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful & Close to the Beach!

Beautiful home & perfect for our quick stay in Siesta Key! Right across the street from the beach and LOVED all of the beach items that were available (chairs, umbrellas, sand blankets). The pool is amazing and our kids loved swimming in it (even when it got a little chilly!) Loved some of the "stocked" items in the kitchen and made cooking a lot easier! Was very excited about the milk frother -- but unfortunately the batteries were dead - HA! Unfortunately the temperature dipped quite a bit while we were there so we did not get to enjoy the beach and pool as much as we had hoped, but loved the area -- check in was incredibly easy and we had a great time!

Great location and beautiful unit

The unit’s location is amazing and it was nicely decorated and clean. We loved being able to easily walk back and forth to that beautiful beach! The beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys were also a definite bonus! The only drawback was the noise from the upstairs unit. You can hear people walking around, and unfortunately one night of our stay our upstairs neighbors were up and moving around into the wee hours of the night. Just something to consider with light sleepers or kiddos that need to go to sleep early. Next time we may look into the upstairs unit :)

Short family beach gettaway

We came to Siesta Keys with our four children (ages 8-15) to enjoy the beach. The place was in a great location- as advertised, clean, and very easy access to the beach. We stayed in the downstairs unit and the ceiling isn’t super well insulated but it wasn’t a big deal. The unit has many thoughtful touches that show the owner cares about it. We ask learned about it the SCAT trolley which stops right next door and gets you to town (or all the way to Turtle Beach south). We hope to stay again if we travel to Florida and stay a few more days too. Thanks for hosting us!
