Wilderness adventure
Posted Jun. 15, 2024 on HomeAwayThe property was perfect! White glove clean! Everything was in working order and well stocked! The property was easy to find with our host's great directions. We enjoyed all the hiking to the arches and observing the diverse plant life and wonderful birding. We would certainly entertain coming again!

The PERFECT cabin!

It was very clean, the owner was very responsive and provided us with information on places to eat and hiking trails. We will definitely be coming back and staying here. It was a great experience.

Hiking getaway

We are at the top of a ridge, backing up to hundreds of acres of woods, yet only a few minutes, to many trail heads and attractions. And yes, everyone loves our new hot tub. Posted Jun. 4, 2024 on HomeAwayBeautiful cabin; beautiful location. Very comfortable and hassle-free. Don't skip leg day, because those stairs are quite the climb (I appreciated the workout). If you need internet access while there, be sure to bring a cellular hot spot or make sure your phone has that capability. We had good AT&T coverage there.

Thank you for your great review! We do our very best to provide guests with a hassle-free experience. And yes, the Gorge is well-know for all of its' hills and vistas. Being at the top of the ridge means a few extra steps, but they allows us to provide guests with that tree house feel, which everyone seems love. The other good news is reliable wifi is coming to our area soon, but in the mean time, as you pointed out, reception is good, hot-spots can be used, or you can head down to Miguel's for wifi and pizza. Loved it!!

We celebrate our wedding anniversary yearly in RRG and this was the perfect cabin and weekend. We will be back! Thank you Kendra!!

Eventually, we will have good wifi in our area, but please know, it is readily available at most restaurants and the state lodge on the main road, which are all nearby. Cell reception is good so it is possible to use a hot spot if needed. Thank you for staying with us!

Great weekend getaway!

Weekend Getaway
Posted Jan. 15, 2024 on HomeAwayCute cabin in the hills (mountains?) with lovely views into the woods. The place is conveniently located to the park and many hikes. There are places to shop for groceries very nearby, as well as takeout. Food delivery was limited. Inside was cute, clean and updated. Loved the gas fireplace, tall ceilings and many windows. Two full bathroom was nice. I wish the hot tub had been warmer - I’d been counting on that. (It was very cold so perhaps that was the challenge? Still disappointing.) We had some challenges with electric that weren’t anyone’s fault but left us without tv, stove or oven for an evening. All workable, but harder without more food options on hand. Huge deck and fire pit would be great, especially in slightly warmer weather.
