Perfect apartment

Second time staying here and it was just as fabulous. Great location for access to public transport, plenty of places to eat just on the door step. Edward and family are great hosts and very welcoming. There if you need them for anything but leave you alone to enjoy your stay. Apartment is very well appointed and makes for a comfortable stay. Terrace is outstanding. Would have no hesitation is staying here again.

Lovely studio at the top of the townhouse, very close to the hustle and bustle and all amenities. There is a tight (ish) sprial staircase to climb to get to the room, but manageable with suitcase, excellent host

Spiral stair, what spiral stair.?

The apartment is tiny and accessed via a spiral stair so tight and steep it is nearly impossible to negotiate, especially with bags. This was strangely not mentioned on the website. The hot water is a trickle which eventually arrived after a wait for the system to kick in, and the view is nil. Altogether a disappointing stay.

Enjoyable stay in Sliema

This was a very central property, only metres from the Sliema ferry. The property was very comfortable with a particularly spacious and well furnished terrace. Although forming the upper floor of the owners' house, it was private and you could come and go as you please. Edward and his family were very friendly and helpful whilst respecting our privacy. Highly recommended.

The property had a lot of character and had everything I needed - a nice little kitchen, great balcony/terrace, and an ideal location. The apartment is located within a couple of minutes' walk to the ferries where you can hop over to Valletta in a few minutes (a beautiful way to enter the city) or take a day trip to Gozo and Comino. I am a light sleeper but slept very well here - the street was quiet. There is a nice coffee shop and a family run restaurant right across the street. There are plenty of other restaurants and shops close by. The apartment is perfect for active couples or solo travelers. The owners made me feel very welcome and gave good directions before I arrived. I was able to take a bus from the airport to a stop just by the ferries near the apartment - easy!

Very short walk to Sleima forshore and gateway to ferries, shops, street food, excellent restaurant over the road, shops and top end stores galore, never left Sleima except for tour around bay, all at the doorstep, Ray & Marg

Compact apartment

The apartment is very small and compact but with everything you need for a holiday.A very comfortable bed and large,private sun terrace. The owner,Edward and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is within a few minutes walk to ferries and local buses but there is a lot of building work going on at the moment making the resort looking a little untidy.

Excellent!

I had a wonderful stay at Edwards place. The location is excellent - right by the ferry lines and in the heart of sliema. Easy to walk lots of places or catch a bus or ferry. Edward stayed up late to greet me after my late flight in. He was also very quick to respond whenever I reached out. The apartment is well equipped, and the deck is AWESOME. Definitely recommend.

Relaxing, comfortable, quiet accommodation within a stone's throw of the harbour

We were made very welcome by Edward and his family. The studio apartment at the top of the house offers peace and quiet, away from the bustle of Sliema. Very comfortable studio, with all amenities. The private rooftop patio is a real bonus, with a barbecue available. Access is by a steep staircase, which may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We are in our late 60s and had no problems. Excellent restaurants very close by, a good supermarket within five minutes (Edward will provide directions), a perfect coffee bar opposite, a traditional baker just up the road and, of course, all the shops, bars etc of Sliema. Access from the airport is simple: the X2 bus (1.50 euros) drops you across the road. We particularly loved the easy access to the boats: the ferry to Valletta and the range of cruises on offer. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Edwards house in Sliema

We stayed at this property for 7 Days. The accommodation was very clean and easy to find. Due to the very hot weather we spent a lot of time relaxing on the Verandah which was private and very cool particularly in the early morning and late evening. The property was within easy access to the Hop-On Hop-Off buses and local amenities. We used the Ferry regularly to get to Valletta, which was very affordable and ran until early morning. Edward recommended the local supermarket, which was well stocked and catered to all our needs. Edward and his family were very friendly and were always on hand to give us advice on how to utilise our time to get the best out of our Malta experience. From the moment we booked Edward was available to answer our questions and provided comprehensive directions and guidance. A lovely family who made us feel at home.

Lovely apartment with spacious terrace.

We stayed for 4 days in late May. The apartment was clean, spacious and convenient for Sliema ferry to Valletta, buses, bars and restaurants. Considering the location it was surprising quiet when we sat out on the terrace, which has the sun in the afternoon and evening. Edward and his wife were very friendly and hospitable. We would definitely recommend this apartment if wishing to stay in this part of Malta.

We had a lovely stay in Edwards Studio apartment it was clean and well cared for and Edward and his wife were very pleasant and friendly. The balcony was great although we didn't use it much as there was a cold wind while we were there, I imagine in the summer you would spend a lot of time there relaxing . Great terrace!

The location is great for the ferry, buses to Valletta and to be near the 'strip' in Sliema. Then again if you are not the 'strip' kinds and want to get away from it all then this one is probably not it. Except the roof terrace which is wonderfully hidden away from view. The studio flat itself, unlike the rest of the house which you pass through to get to it, is modern rather than quaint. A couple of offbeat tips: amidst the tourist traps on the main Sliema promenade the Labour Party Club bar is a little gem just metres from this flat. Simple place with real people. Sofra Kebab around the corner has a fantastic salad bar, you fill a small or large box for 4 or 6 euro respectively. Great tasting! For a nicer occasion check out l'Artist restaurant in the neighbourhood. Thank you Edward, for the friendliness and letting us do a super late checkout on the evening of our flight - appreciated!

An ideal base.

My husband and I recently stayed in this property for a week. Edward was very helpful at the booking stage and provided us with useful information before we arrived. The apartment is extremely clean and has everything you could need for self-catering. The outside terrace is a fabulous space-perfect for breakfast or relaxing. Edward and his family are lovely and are there if you have any queries or need information. The last part of the stairs is narrow but only a little tricky when getting your luggage to and from the apartment. The location is excellent as buses, tourist buses and ferries are all located at the bottom of the street. There are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants within easy walkng distance.

Appartement bien situé à Sliema avec tout ce qu' il faut à proximité. Proprietaires sympathiques disponibles et à l' écoute. On est un peu à l' étroit dans l' appartement quand on ne peut pas profiter de la terrasse pour cause de mauvais temps. Éclairage à améliorer, insuffisant pour lire le soir.

Ottima posizione per visitare Malta in generale. Alloggio a pochi passi dal centro pedonale fornito di tutti i negozi. Ottima posizione per prendere qualsiasi Bus. Alloggio da poco ristrutturato in una tipica casa maltese abitata dai proprietari. Scala a chiocciola stretta ma caratteristica. Terrazza con divani, barbecue, lavandino, lettini da sole. Ottima connessione WI-FI , TV satellitare. Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili.

Tres bon sejour et proprietaire vraiment sympa ,qui nous a même mené à l'aeroport ,tres tôt le matin notre taxi ayant eu une défaillance Appartement agreable . Et très chouette terrasse , juste escalier d'accès un peu étroit
