Surrounded by a beautiful Italian garden and overlooking the arc of the Gulf of Naples Villa Donna Elisa offers stunning views the Sorrentine Coastline and the characteristic cone of Mount Vesuvius right in the middle of it. Closer by and at each side of the villa, you will be able to see other elegant historical mansions, which now are luxury hotels. If you lean from the balustrade of the terrace, you will see the green-azure sea of Sorrento right below you, with its long, thin strips of beaches, colored by lounges and umbrellas



This attractive and well-maintained apartment is located on the second of a two floor Villa and is situated less than 200 meters walking distance from the center of Sorrento.

Excellent location and Villa

You won’t be disappointed about this amazing villa, the pictures don’t do it justice. There was plenty of room for four of us, two couples, and you could walk to every site and restaurant. The only thing is Next Door it appears to be a wedding venue and about three or four nights of the whole week was quite loud.

Be Still My Heart

This was my second stay at Villa Donna Elisa. I hope to return again next year. There are no words to describe how amazing the villa and gardens are on this property. The minute you walk through the gates, you feel all your anxieties disappear. The location is walking distance to everything in the city centre. Bruno and Federica are outstanding at attending to all details from booking through the end of your trip. I cannot say enough about this place and it’s representatives. It has become a VERY SPECIAL place to me over the years——it just takes you back to another time when life was much less complicated. I’m always sad when its time to go. XO

This is a special place. Very private, spacious, and well-appointed. Situated on a cliff overlooking the harbor and close to restaurants and services. Also close to the train station for your ventures to Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Naples.

Schönes Haus mit schmalem Tor

Sehr schöne Lage und Ausblick. GerĂ€umiges und elegantes Hais. Der große Garten isoliert das Haus gut von der sehr belegten Straße. Tor sehr schmal, ich konnte mit MĂŒhe mein Auto reinfahren.

Living the Dream

Our 10 day stay at Villa Donna Elisa was like a dream. Once entering the lovely gardens we were overwhelmed by the accommodations and the hospitality. We could not have asked for a finer location in Sorrento and the nearness to the charms of this wonderful little city. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. It is important to add the hospitality continued with the interaction with Madame Donna Elisa who did everything possible to insure our comfort. It was always a joy to have conversations with her. We are extremely grateful for the attention we received when we had a medical concern and a physician came to the villa within an hour and we were very satisfied, actually overjoyed, with the attention and we were able to continue to enjoy our holiday. Finally, there are no words to describe the stunning views of the harbor each day. We are absolutely certain we found the finest place to stay in Sorrento at the Villa Donna Elisa. Upon our hopeful return to Sorrento again we will be able to spend our visit at the Villa Donna Elias. Patrick and Nina Lillard

We stayed for 8 days and when we arrived and the gate opened, it felt like Shangrila or "the enchanted garden"! The property, the house and the beautiful views to the sea are most spectacular. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable and Mme. Eliza is a lovely, sweet and helpful woman (if you need her)...otherwise you don't even know she's there. Very spacious, beautiful views, gardens and lots of terraces

The property is very central just 2 minutes walk from Tasso square. Once you walk up the drive through and into the gardens it is very peaceful. The garden terrace has unobstructed views over the sea, marina and the bay of Naples where you could stand all day watching. The gardens are very well kept with lemon trees, cacti, trees etc. The apartment is on the upper level of the villa and the owner Madame Elisa lives in the ground floor apartment. Elisa is a lovely lady and is around if you need anything but you still have your privacy. The apartment is very spacious in a traditional Italian style and well equipped. The housekeeper comes in every few days to take away the rubbish and give clean towels. There are so many terraces to choose from equipped with chairs ,sun beds and tables. We found the beds very comfortable and everything was very clean. My only criticism is that the washing machine wasn't great and didn't spin very well when I had to use it because of having coffee all over me from a cafe! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment as it's setting is unmatched and you do feel very special and honoured when you walk through the gates 😊

A wonderful week in Sorrento!

Donna Elisa was a wonderful and gracious hostess. She was so welcoming and helpful to us during our week-long stay. The apartment was just as depicted in the professional photos, only the view was even more amazing than we expected. We loved waking up every morning to sit on the balcony. The garden and its array of birds was so enjoyable. Donna Elisa's home is a horticultural oasis within a short walk of the main plaza of Sorrento (Tasso Piazza). You can easily walk to restaurants, various shops, the grocery store and even the train station. No need to rent a car! We went on several excursions from the villa including a Sorrento farm tour, a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast, a guided hike on the Path of the Gods, and a self-guided tour of Capri. All the excursions were fantastic and we would recommend them all!! Our experience was so memorable, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Ciao! Amy and Dean Edenson Kim and Chris Nardo
