We've been coming to Algonquin every November, for over 20 years, to celebrate my wife's birthday. We always spend a lot of time in the east end of the park, so this year we decided to look for a place to stay in Whitney. This property looked absolutely perfect for what we needed (and more)!Lots to places to sleep and super comfortable beds. A large kitchen with everything you need for making meals. A very cozy living room space for relaxing after a day of hiking the trails! And the most important part of all...a nice, big wood stove with plenty of wood in the wood shed!This place was absolutely perfect in every way and I know we'll be back again next year (and for many years to come); it quickly became our family's favorite place to stay when coming up to the park!The hosts were amazing, even going that extra step and putting out birthday decorations, and a bottle of wine, for when we arrived. Communication was awesome from start to finish, ensuring we had everything we needed to make the most of our time there (including a park pass)!We had an amazing time staying here and we will definitely be back again next year!

Perfect site to get away from the city. Everything you need in the kitchen. Town has a small grocery store 5min away if you need anything. Park pass included so you can hit the Algonquin trails whenever. Can't see any neighbours from the house, just trees, but yhe town is close enough to walk to

Love the wooded setting, Northwoods decor, proximity to Algonquin PP, provision of park pass. Cottage well stocked.We had 2 sightings of moose, one with sound effects, 2 bear and we watched an otter family play. Colors of tree spectacular.

Perfect location and well equipped

This property was in a perfect location for visiting Algonquin. It was clean and well equipped. The host was very responsive to messages and gave immediate response to our questions. The basement is a bit damp, but we used only the upstairs and it was lovely. A very nice wrap around porch to relax on after a day of hiking in the park.

Excellent place just about in the woods while being accessible to Algonquin and a nearby town with a good grocery. Wood was stocked for fire and weather good enough to not even have to look at the central air/heating. Great accommodations and helpful owner. Highly recommend.

Photography trip great place to stay

The house was just what I needed. I Would recommend to others. Unfortunately, the entire time I was only there for a few hours to sleep only, as it was a photographer trip. However, what I can say is that it’s cozy, great bed, all the amenities you need (cookware, BBQ) nicely set back on the property for privacy. The host was great! She was easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. I hope to go back with hubby but next time spend more time and relax there.

Perfect Place
