Zaindari House Boat
Posted Aug. 3, 2021 on HotelsIt was amazing experience. Owiner of house boat was very nice. They left no stone unturned to make our stay wonderful. From stay to ride of Shakhara was a experience of life time. Must visit place.

Needs better upkeep
Posted Jul. 16, 2014 on Hotelsnice location, service was good till Mr Bilal was there , after he left on some trek it was bad !! staff were greedy for tips etc !! Need to give better linen and provide soap and shampoo in bath room !!

Pros: location with quiet waters and overall view
Located at cool calm quiet waters of dal lake,owner (abdul) was very humble and cooperative and helpfull in providing assistance and help.realy enjoyed the hospitality

Posted Apr. 8, 2014 on HotelsOur experience was outstanding! we were hugely amazed by the warmth and hospitality meted to us by the owner and his son, Imran. Clean rooms (including bathrooms) with electric blankets, traditional heating equipment and finger licking waazwan delights like gushtaba, yakhni, rishta etc that Imran and his father put out on the dinner table made the experience truly memorable. That the houseboat was a little boatride away from the ghat meant that we had to use the shikara for commuting and that actually was yet another exciting part of the stay. flanked by snow clad mountains on one side and a lotus farm in front, the Zaindari boathouse is a must on everyone's Srinagar itinerary!

Pros: A house boat is something special for its own.
Location: Lake Dal is a very romantic place and the city of Srinagar is not far away.
A very romantic place on the lake Dal, very friendly and accomodating houseboat owner and boat driver, definitely recommendable, I would go there for a second time!
