Clean and cozy Cottage bring your toys! Restaurants,ORV trails and Lake St Helen
Parking for your toys. ORV Trails down the street. Lots of restaurants. Lake St. Helen 1/8 of a mile away. Great for fishing, boating or go to the beach. 20 min from Houghton Lake/ Higgins Lake. Central location to multiple golf courses.. Dog Friendly too.
This place has become our preferred spot in St Helen for our RZR trips. Basically a straight shot to the trails with a gas station along the way! Wide open floorplan⊠washer and dryer help tremendously so you can pack a little lighter and the garage is a huge bonus to park the machines at night. We made friends with an orange cat during our trip in April and he stopped by to say hi again this time : ). Already planning a trip for October!
House was exactly as pictured. I was nervous bedroom one pic was the front room but there is a room with a large closet on the first floor Lol! Futon in front room. Place was clean and spacious. We were very grateful to be able to bring our dogs who enjoyed the trip. Yard was big. We didnât use them but fire pit and grill were available. Place was close to our family. AC helped us cool down and sleep at night. Thank you!!
The house was clean, but it only provided the bare minimum in supplies. There were not enough washcloths. The kitchen was really lacking in supplies. Only a couple of pans. No aluminum foil or Ziplocs. No coffee was left behind. The yard was mowed, but the lawn was covered in cut grass, not raked. There wasn't any light in the garage. It served its purpose, but I was not very impressed overall.
Nice place but was not very clean. Had to buy sheets to cover the couch because it was so dirty and stained. A lot of dog hair on the floors. There is only ac up stairs and most of the windows would not open. Itâs a cute place but could use some tlc.
The rental was clean but very sparsely outfitted . Especially for some one that wants to cook. The kitchen had very few things available to cook with. Had to go out and buy a canopener and sharp knife that wasn't a chef's knife. The dryer vent was disconnected and discharged into the house. My husband fixed it.The sheets were questionable if they were clean. Pulled the blankets back and the sheets were all rumbled like someone had already slept in it.We had difficulty connecting to the wifi. . I texted and sent a message thru VRBO but never got a reply.. We finally figured it out. This place would be good for a group to stay at for a hunting or riding trip that just go out to eat or order outWe were very disappointed after reading the great reviews
I really enjoyed my stay here. The property was just as listed. The house had everything you would need. The king size bed was comfortable. The check in process was simple as can be. The location was perfect for hitting the trails and going into town for restaurants or gas/groceries. The driveway was large and paved. I would definitely stay here again
