Granted this is an old building... But, the stains all over the hallway and room carpet is disgusting. The room A/C is set at 64-- the current room temp is 77-- We left for 2hrs hoping we would be back to a cool room, nope-- By the time we got back, we did not want to ask to relocate and have to pack up etc. after a long day of travel. My booking was for a King room, after going into the room, I knew this wasn't what I booked. I went back to the front desk asking about this because the queen room cost more. I was "upgraded" to the Queen suite, with said issues. *And even though I am paying to stay here, I was informed on check-in their floor in the parking garage was $20 to park there.

Pear tree inn was so close to the things we wanted to see for example the ball park. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. The beds were hard and walls were thin, could hear everything. When the air kicked on the blower was super loud. The gravy for breakfast was watery but everything tasted great.

We were able to walk to so many things from here. We went to The Arch, the baseball field, and a couple of nice restaurants. There's also a little market nearby!

The Pear Tree hotel is unique hotel. All of the amenities are located on one floor (dinning area, pool/hot tub, fitness center) which made it convenient for my family. There is a sense of coziness and old world charm in the decor especially in the main amenities area. The breakfast was your typical hotel continental breakfast. It would have been nice to have a bit of variety on one of the days. The afternoon snack offering was nice. The kids enjoyed the snacks and I enjoyed some wine. My room itself was clean, but the pull to switch from bath to the shower was broken and had to be held the whole time each one of us were showering. That was a bit aggravating. I would have said something, but we were on a short trip and by the time we noticed we were going to be leaving the next day or so.
