I was looking for accommodations near the America's Center Convention Center. The Missouri Athletic Club had rooms within our price range. The building itself is magnificent, with classic early twentieth century decor and ambience. We never knew such a classic existed in downtown St. Louis. But we'll never forget it.

Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than our check in time and were able to park in the garage AND check in early at this time. We were there for a concert and the staff was very helpful in navigating the area and giving us recommendations on places to grab a bit to eat prior to our event. Would highly reccomend!

Beautiful, well kept property. Reasonably priced rooms. Delicious meals (we had 2 breakfasts and one dinner) reasonably priced. Lois at the front desk was very helpful, as was the rest of the staff. Shuttle service to the ball game was great! We weren’t able to control the temperature in our room was really the only glitch. We should have said something to the staff but we didn’t.

Cool hotel in a great location. Within walking distance to many sites, near train stations, and even had a shuttle to the Cardinals games. Staff was extremely helpful!

Expect to be warm in your room in the summer. We couldn't use the ceiling fan because it was out of balance and made a lot of noise. The AC is just an open or closed vent from the main system. If you are not a MAC member you always get a room all the way in the back, furthest away from the elevators.
