This was our second time staying at the Moonrise. It's a great location, particularly if you're seeing a show at the Pageant or Delmar Hall. The hotel is hip and friendly, with a great rooftop bar. The only thing that wasn't great was the parking situation when we arrived. 1. You pretty much have to valet park and the parking attendants are really hit and miss when it comes to professionalism and helpfulness. That's a problem because it's a bit of madhouse if you check in on the weekend. 2. There's an EV charger (and we drive an EV), but it was broken.

Overall, it was fine. The service was great, the room was very dusty, and the parking can be iffy. As a solo female, I felt safe. You can tell that this hotel used to be top notch and really desirable, but it could now use some updates and a deep clean in the rooms. Depending on the time, this is definitely cheaper with free parking than other hotels and that makes it worth it. Other times, I would probably stay somewhere else if the cost was competitive

Love it!

Everyone here is so nice. The parking is so close and free. They are so sweet to pets with a water bowl and a treat. The hotel is great. Very clean. Right beside The Pageant and The Pin up Bowl. Lots of fun. Don'tiss the roof top bar. Drinks and apps were great.

Our Loop Hotel Go To

Always love staying here when in the area. This time our room wasnt ready and we had to wait an extra hour as did anyone waiting for a King room. I was surprised that theu didnt offer any free snacks or beverages while we waited or even a $20 discount on our stay.
