When we arrived we did have a safety concern - the front door to the studio has glass on it - this is directly to the outside. The owner had put a mirrored tint on the window, but installed it incorrectly so that someone standing outside could see in the studio, but inside it was a mirror. We taped some paper towel on the door so that no one from the street could walk up to the door to peer in, but this should be something the owner should handle. I felt safe with my husband and dog there. Seems like a simple fix for the owner. We stayed over a holiday and were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the space. Nothing major, it just all felt a little dirty. Lots of dust on the baseboards, hair on the walls in the bathroom, and a slight cat pee smell near the couch. We just needed a place to sleep and a space for our dog to chill while we were at our in-laws who are allergic to dogs. So the space served its purpose we needed. It was the holiday weekend and we didnât have the capacity to reach out to the host to fix these problems during our stay. Giving 3 stars since the visit was ok, and we got what we needed from it.
There were parks and streets that I walked my dog but there was no enclosed pet area as listed.Otherwise the place was exactly as listed and convenient location. Nice neighborhood, nice place.
