Great location for what we needed. We were in town for my daughter surgery at STL Children's Hospital. We had easy access for everywhere we needed & wanted to go. The only cons that I had for this listing is the beds/matresses were very noisy and not very comfortable, the thermostat is on a timer to go back to a certain temperature making it hard to stay comfortable, we used the oven twice, to make frozen lasagna for dinner and cinnamon rolls for breakfast and the fire alarm upstairs kept going off and there werent any oven mitts. It could have been much worse, but certainly could have been better.

This is a decent place to stay if you're just looking for a roof over your head and some super basic needs, but I will caution, there are some serious drawbacks. The place is not nearly as neat and clean as advertised - if the dusty floors and basement cobwebs are any indication. The few towels provided are quite tiny and full of hair (bad washer/dryer/quality). We struggled the first day & night because we had no idea how to turn the air down on the complicated thermostat - as it was so hot and humid in the place, everything felt sticky and damp. The TV must be on some sort of alarm because it woke us up at 5 am BLARING Sunday morning. Everyone in the house woke up very upset and nervous that someone broke in - which is never a great feeling. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear every echo in the house and noise outside from the busy neighborhood. The beds are super uncomfortable, hard and VERY creaky. We didn't touch the kitchen at all, though it seemed nice. Check in and out was very simple.

The building and location was awesome!…the owner was not.

Cute and near everything Soulard. We traveled in for an engagement party for just one night and met the needs of our adult family perfectly. More space than a hotel, safe location and just a bit of walking to local hot spots. Would recommend.

Our group of 5 was looking for a place to stay so we could enjoy St. Patricks day, and the Blues game responsibly. This was a great place to hangout before and after the game. Very homey and clean. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at this property. We stayed for Mardi Gras down town soulard and it was in the perfect location. Only issue we had were the beds are a little hard and bouncy but doable. The biggest complaint I have is the upstairs neighbors being so loud and jumping on the floors all hours of the night. Even them walking is so loud it will keep you up all night. Make sure to bring ear phones or ear plugs to sleep. Otherwise the place itself had every thing we would need and enjoyed our stay!
