Updated direct Gulf front condo with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a private balcony. The amazing views of the sugary sand beach of Indian Shores and the Gulf of Mexico will make your vacation memories special. Enjoy amazing sunsets nightly! The open floor plan living area has plenty of room for the family to spread out. There is a Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room with TV and a ceiling fan. This condo has a King size bed in the master bedroom with a ceiling fan for added comfort, TV, and ensuite bathroom with tub/shower. The second bedroom has 2 Double beds, a ceiling fan, and a TV. The hallway bathroom has been updated also and has a step-in shower. This condo has FREE secure WiFi and FREE long-distance calling to the US and Canada. The Holiday Villas II condo complex offers a secure elevator and a large heated swimming pool. The pool area has bathrooms and a shower/rinse station. There is an app operated laundry on each floor; option for credit card payments available. There is charcoal and a gas grill for your use as well. The sugary sand beaches of Indian Shores are well maintained and depending on the time of year you may see a sea turtle nest or Skimmer bird colony. The quaint town of Indian Shores offers shops, restaurants, putt-putt golf, and a seabird sanctuary.

The best part of the whole experience was the beach right outside of the front porch with a perfect view of the shore, water, and sunsets. Also, due to the location, the beach was rarely crowded, and everyone was pleasant. Be prepared to check in at Plumtree's main office, which is not the same location as the condo.

Great view but too much hassle.

This place has a different code for the elevator, the condo, and beach access, it was rough trying to juggle two kids, a beach cart, and the codes to get where we needed. The view is great, and the condo is nice. but we will not be back.

What a nice escape from subzero weather in Minnesota. The condo was comfortable, everything we needed. It was great to wake up, sit on the balcony, and watch the waves. Check in was easy, everything was clean, neighborhood seemed safe. Lots of restaurants and things to do within easy driving distance. Beach was basically out the back door. The elevator is temperamental at times. The master bed is missing the supports in the frame in the middle, so sinks down a little bit. Everything else was as described and worked as it should. Would definitely stay here again.

Review

Unit itself was nice and mostly as marketed. Check in receptionist was very friendly. It was missing shampoo and no one came with any; and the washer dryer was community instead of in unit, though. The main big complaints are the king bed is really two twins pushed together which was very uncomfortable; and the building/complex itself was very very run down, including an elevator that is hard to believe is up to code.

We loved our stay!

We loved our stay and will definitely go back. The views from this 4th floor condo are perfect, the balcony is large and very nice! We wanted to go somewhere to just sit, read and eat! The condo and beach provided the sitting and reading part. We could walk to some places for take out and enjoy it on our own balcony. There were plenty of restaurants nearby to enjoy. We loved it all!

Indian Shore Stay

The VRBO process was easy and even through the Covid delay from a year ago, it was easy dealing with the friendly Plumlee associate. Unit # 417 was extremely clean, second in priority only to the wonderful view of the gulf. The unit had been refurbished recently and was quite lovely. We felt safe in the area and loved having the gorgeous beach practically to ourselves.

Only con was the elevator being down but we knew that beforehand. Mgt was great and the unit was super nice. Beautiful views from the balcony at sunset each evening. We had a blast!

Relaxing atmosphere

I’ll start with the pros because I don’t like to complain - the unit was very clean & neat. There were noticeable updates that the owner has made that we really appreciated, one being the furniture in the family room. The recliners were amazing! the most comfortable that we’ve ever sat in! The balcony furniture also appeared new and was very nice :) The pool and beach seemed to be kept clean. Even though there are several units in this complex we never heard a lot of noise which was a pleasant surprise. I was worried since it was spring break but it was a quiet atmosphere that never seemed overcrowded. On to the cons. First & foremost the mattresses. I have NEVER sat on something so hard. I did contact the property manager after trying both the master and second bedroom on the first two nights. They were very attentive & brought me a foam topper right away. It helped enough so that I could sleep the rest of our trip. The blankets on the bed are also the roughest of anything I have ever used. I did see a previous review say the same thing which was addressed by the property manager saying it was because of the temperature they use while washing. Just know that if you want comfortable sleeping accommodations then this is not the place for you. We were traveling with eight families , each staying in a different complex, and they all had very soft bedding. Also keep in mind that the hot water runs out very quick. I made the mistake of letting my son and husband shower before me & I had a cold shower. Lastly, I need to point out to future renters that the washing machine and dryer are not inside the condo. It is a community coin operated room near the elevator. The grills are very tiny charcoal grills in a very inconvenient location. The kind you’d find at a park. Again, all the other families had large gas grills at their locations. Just an FYI in case you like to entertain or grill a lot. My recommendations for the owners would be to update the toilets which are super tiny- (one has a foam seat) , invest in better mattresses, and purchase a larger hot water tank. All and all we were happy & loved the beautiful sunsets. The property managers were easy to work with and I’m sure would do anything they could to make your stay a nice one.

Spring Break 2021

Great view, great location. Very relaxing and the description was very accurate. Property manager gave great insights and even let us borrow some additional beach gear. I recommend Conch Republic, PJs Oyster Bar, Skulley’s, and Jakes Cantina for places to eat or drink, avoid Friendly’s Fish Restraurant at John’s Pass Boardwalk (poor food and over priced) Overall, we had a really great time!

Cozy with GREAT views!

Very nice condo. Mostly good but a few things needed tending. Check in process was easy, April Love was the manager and she was very helpful. Condo was clean and exactly like it stated in VRBO. Steps from the beach and views from the deck were gorgeous. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and such. Very quiet and never heard neighbors. Beds were not so good! The king bed in master was dreadful! I think it was two doubles pushed together. I can pretty much sleep anyways and it was like sleeping on a rock. You woke up in morning in the middle where the two mattresses meet and it was low there. Worse bed ever!!!! A few other things we scratched our heads about..... spend the money and buy a new shower head! Good gosh it was as old as Moses and spit out water. What are they like $20. for a new one? We happened to stay during a time when nights were a bit cool and there were no blankets. The beds had 2 sheets on them and that was it. Spend the money and buy a blanket for each bed and a couple for the couch when you’re watching tv at night. Thank god I brought two heavy beach towels, because that’s what we used at night! Overall it was nice just need to do some easy fixes to get 5 stars. Thanks for a great vacation.

Enjoy summer in winter!

Although the building is showing its age , the unit itself was well equipped with everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We loved the beach and the view from the balcony is beautiful. The building staff was helpful and very friendly.

This property was a very nice place and the perfect location for our family get away! All of the staff was very friendly, the view was beautiful, and the pool was definitely heated and wonderful! Would stay here again with no question!

Un-realized Potential

This property has so much potential that a little refresh of the decor could make so much better. Master bed felt like a pillow top that had been flipped over for the renters (ouch). Super Sunsets

A spacious condo on the shore that offers a view of dolphins feeding in the morning and glorious sunsets every night. Stand in the water to watch schools of stingrays glide past. Enjoy the condo’s proximity to shops and restaurants. Fourth floor even helps you tone your glutes. A nice place to visit.

Great Vacation

Enjoyed this condo. Very spacious and open. So easy to be on the beach. Bathrooms and bedrooms a little dated but clean. Located close to everything you need. Would stay here again.
