Unlike many beach side properties this one features a large parking area with room for six cars.
A car is nice to have to see attractions further inland but guests without a car can take the Suncoast Trolley (trolley stop is a few steps from the front of the house)
up and down the Pinellas County beaches from Clearwater Beach to St. Pete Beach. Indian Shores features dedicated walking and separate bike path lanes.
There's plenty within a 2 mile radius - ice cream shops, Smugglers Cove mini golf, the seabird sanctuary, and tons of great restaurants. By car the house is 5 minutes from a Publix; Target and numerous other stores are all within a 15 minute drive.
We love spending time at 'Three Mermaids and a Crab' and hope you will, too!

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely return. The house truly had everything we needed for a perfect beach vacation. It’s a quick 30-second walk to the beach, which was uncrowded and spacious—such a treat. The beach setup was fantastic: six chairs, beach towels, plenty of sand toys, and a wagon to easily haul everything down.The home was fully stocked for cooking, including a grill, and having a washer, dryer, and coffee maker made everything so convenient. The pool was a huge bonus and surprisingly warm—even with outside temps around 52 degrees, our kids happily swam every day. We also loved being within walking distance to DJ’s Clam Shack (best lobster roll we’ve ever had!).Steve was an outstanding host—when we unexpectedly ran out of toilet paper, he was there within 20 minutes to help us out, which we really appreciated.Our only very minor notes were that there wasn’t a towel hook right outside the shower door and there were no washcloths in the master bathroom, but these were small things in an otherwise perfect stay. Highly recommend this property for families or anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped beach getaway!

Excellent location!

This house hit all the marks for our group, very close to the beach access, clean, and private. We were able to have 8 of us without feeling like we were too crowded. The house is clean, and the updated kitchen was great. A little light on the kitchen utensils, towels, but enough to make it work. Steve was very speedy in getting us replacement beach chairs and umbrella when notified of broken ones.

This property and location is perfect. Just the right size for our group. It is so close to the beach that we enjoyed sunsets every evening. The pool is heated and allowed us to enjoy pool parties on cooler days. Everything inside is clean and new and cozy.

We enjoyed our stay at 3 Mermaids and a Crab over New Year's, especially its proximity to the beach and of course the wonderful heated pool. It was the perfect property for our multi-generational family vacation—highly recommended!

Christmas at the beach

Awesome property, everything was clean and felt brand new. Super close to the beach and they had everything you needed to hit the sand. The pool was heated so we could use it all day even when it wasn’t that hot out. Can’t beat the convenience and privacy! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

The house was well stocked (but only had travel sized shampoo and such so bring your own or get some from the nearby mart). The kitchen had more than we needed for breakfasts and lunches to be prepared. The walk to the beach was so short and they supplied many items for the re as well (plenty of chairs for our group of six). I recommend renting a cool cabana from green iguana (short walk to pick up). The pool was nice at night and for getting out of the sun in the early morning and the evening. The only “issue” would be the flooor is buckling in a couple places but they tried to rectify it with some warning tape. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Beach House!

This was the perfect house for our family to end the summer in! The house is fully loaded with everything you need for a great trip. Two large bedrooms and a bunkbed room for the kids. The wagon, beach chairs, towels and umbrellas all made getting to the beach each day a breeze. A 30 second walk and you are in the sand! Afternoons and evenings in the pool were a great way to end the day! We will definitely be booking again if we are ever back in Indian Shores!

What a great experience! The house was super clean inside and out! It had everything you needed for a great beach vacation. Short walk to the beach, ice cream, coffee, and food! The bedrooms are very relaxing and comfortable with plenty of storage space. We would definitely come back!!!
