This is a really great hotel if you’re going to Clearwater beach. It’s a 3 minute walk across a small street directly onto the beach, it’s got a nice pool area with food and drink service. The people working there were excellent. Extremely helpful and very polite. Anything we needed, they were more than happy to provide. I have two small cons. 1 is the cost of valet parking, between the fee, tax and tip, I spent about $45/day on parking which is substantial. 2. Beverages (even non-alcoholic) are just outrageously priced my son was having a stomach ache and the bartender charged me $7 for a fountain ginger ale. Bottles of water at the pool were also $7, which just seemed outrageous when it was $98 degrees. Other than those two small things everything else was great. You can walk anywhere you’d like, close to food, shopping, etc. fun for the kids and adults.

Our 10 day stay at Wyndham Grand was great. We purchased breakfast vouchers upon booking. The breakfast was excellent. So many food options. The servers bring drinks but the breakfast was buffet style. Some days the servers were awesome. Other days the servers were slow and we had to wait very long for a coffee. The bar and grill restaurant was also very good. They charge a large service fee but it is a mandatory gratuity so you don’t need to tip much more if any extra. The bar and grill also delivers to the beach although the food didn’t seem as good when we ordered from the beach. We called food service one night and they severed answered. The front desk would not help get room service. The only parking is valet. I personally would have preferred self parking. The valet didn’t help with our bags when we arrived. To request our car we just needed to text them and it was at the front door within 5-15minutes. When getting back to the hotel, the valet workers would swarm the car and it was kind of annoying. I would stop before getting to the hotel to get all of our stuff organized so that we could quickly unload. The one pool and one hot tub were nice. They have beach umbrellas and chairs included in the booking. Every day a hotel worker comes and verifies you are staying at the hotel and asks for a tip via tablet. Overall the hotel was good, clean and comfortable. We got the room with the gulf view which had an amazing sunset every night. The AC worked well.

Fourth time here and it still is the best. Great location close to beach and walk to many restaurants and shops. Pool is fun and the service was impeccable by everyone. Get the grouper bites with remoulade sauce at the pool you won't be disappointed. My favorite place in Florida.

Great hotel in perfect location

Lovely hotel in the key area of clearwater. Stayed here many times to finish for the holiday and always a favourite for the family. The city tax is steep but probably a locality issue, and I think there needs to be more Control with people taking drinks in the pool. We don't use the restaurants due to increasing costs but they always look and smell delightful... All in all lovely hotel in the best area close to Pier60

I’d give this an additional star if it had an option to do self parking instead of valet and a hefty fee. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay. The pool and access to the beach was amazing!
