Ridgeview Retreat: Mountain Views and Pet Friendly

Ridgeview Retreat is a cozy cabin situated beautifully on over 15 sprawling acres with gorgeous mountain views. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the country, but also proximity to Downtown Staunton and easy access to Harrisonburg. This 3 bedroom cabin sleeps 7 and boasts gorgeous outdoor spaces with a fire pit, swings, and land to roam.

Ridgeview Retreat is located up a mile-long driveway. Prepare for the view to take your breath away when you make it to the top! **Interested in hosting an event at our property? Please send an inquiry

MAIN FLOOR:
Living Area - Couch, armchairs with ottomans, TV with Firestick (please login to your own Netflix, Hulu, etc. accounts), books, games

Kitchen - Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs, dishwasher, dual-basin sink, gas stove, microwave, coffee pot with tea, coffee, and creamer pods, small bar-height table with two stools.

Dining Area - Counter-height table with 6 chairs.

Half-Bath - Laundry access located within half-bath.

Master Bedroom - King bed, dresser, twin sleeper, sound machine, nightstands with reading lamps.

Master Bathroom - Double vanity, jacuzzi tub, stall shower, walk-in closet.

UPSTAIRS:
Bedroom 2 - King bed, dresser, storage ottoman, sound machine, reading lamps with USB charging ports.

Bedroom 3 - Queen bed, nightstands with reading lamps, dresser, mirror.

Bathroom - Full bathroom with double vanity, shower/bathtub combo.

BASEMENT:
Game Room - Additional living area with smart TV, foosball table, games, and couch (converts to futon).

OUTSIDE:
Propane grill (propane NOT provided), swings, firepit (please bring your own firewood!) with 6 Adirondack chairs, outdoor table on deck with 4 chairs, NEW: Cornhole and outdoor Jenga.

*Dog friendly with an additional $75 fee. No cats, fines apply.

Please note that the driveway is long and steep. Road and driveway have been paved for easier access. If there were to be snow in the winter months, 4-wheel drive would be needed. Please go slow up the driveway, as there is drainage installed under the driveway that can make the ride a little bumpy.

If you will use the firepit, please pack your own wood or purchase locally when you arrive.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Ridgeview Retreat. It was clean and had pretty much everything we needed. It was easy to get to and offered amazing views. We were greeted by a herd of deer most mornings as well as lovely sunrises. We would definitely stay again.

Quiet getaway in the mountains!

The Ridgeview Retreat was the perfect backdrop for our girls' getaway! The home was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the serene outdoor spaces — so peaceful and relaxing. Plus, the location couldn't have been better, with great breweries and wineries just minutes away. We'd absolutely return for another laid-back and memorable vacation.

Great views

We were in the area for a wedding and this house was clean, perfect location and a great stop for us. The driveway the first day we drove further due to google maps but then found the mailbox and saw the sign. I was sorry we were not on site more as a fire outside would have been amazing to enjoy. Love the views and the house was stocked and decorated very nice.

Privacy with Great Mountain Views

We really loved our stay. The private location was perfect and the views were awesome. The house had everything we needed. The driveway was a little rough up and down, but is probably easier with 4-wheel drive. We plan to stay here again.

Home away from home

Short trip to meet up with other family members from different states. Place was awesome and the views are two thumbs up approved. Peaceful and secure for all. Zero complaints and zero issue with the place. Looking to come back for a longer stay in the future.

Family Reunion

We absolutely loved the Ridgeview Retreat. We were in town for a family reunion and we were able to enjoy the amenities of this property, which exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the serenity of the area but it was still close enough for groceries or eating out. Would highly recommend this property. We hope to return some day.

Stunning Views

Beautiful property with gorgeous views of the mountains. Home is very warm and welcoming with lots of thoughtful touches. Great location for exploring Staunton and enjoying wonderful sunrises on the porch!
