Gabouri Place ~ Completely Renovated Victorian in Ste. Genevieve's Historic Dist

This cozy victorian home was completely renovated in 2018. Circa 1890, most original wood flooring was refinished and kitchen update with new refrigerator, stove, microwave, and cabinetry. Kitchen also includes a coffee maker and toaster. Gas fireplace in living room with flat screen smart TV and WiFi. Master suite on main floor, two bedrooms upstairs with another full bath and flat screen. All bedrooms have queen sized beds with sitting area. Laundry room provide for guest use with ironing board and iron. Outside is a private fenced in yard with patio, chairs, and side tables for enjoying the cool evenings. This property is located just a block from the historical walking tour and within blocks of several restaurants, tourist attractions, historic homes, and shopping opportunities.

Charming cozy and clean, Gabouri Place was just what we needed for our weekend trip. Walking distance to shops, eateries and historic places like the beautiful must see St. Genevieve Catholic Church. Attentive hosts had everything we needed already in place and made check in/out a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gabouri Place.

The house worked perfectly for our family wedding weekend in Ste Genevieve. Only feedback is that from the description and pictures, it was not clear that the two upstairs bedrooms are connected so you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the shared bathroom.

Loved the house and how well renovated and clean it was! Bathroom situatio.is difficult since both are inside a bedroom, but not a big deal. Maybe an style partitian in the bedroom on the main floor so the bed could be kind of hidden and that bathroom could be used without seeing the people sleeping. We'd absolutely rent again!

A lot smaller than it appeared in pictures. Tiny living room and kitchen. The upstairs isn’t real private or convenient for having two couples upstairs. Only one bathroom upstairs and you have to walk through both bedrooms to get to it. Bathrooms could use more towels, toilet paper etc. We did find two roach looking bugs and let the owner know. The only thing she said is I had it spayed a month ago. Didn’t offer any discounts or say I’m sorry. I thought that could have been handled a little better

Winery Trip

We were visiting St. Gen to see the new Weingarten that was just renovated and reopened. We had a blast! I love the town and how everything is within walking distance. The house was so cute and clean. Perfect for our group! We will definitely be back!

This property was clean and stocked with all that we needed: coffee, tea, creamer, sugar and substitutes, kitchen items. There was plenty of living room seating for visiting with friends. The lication was perfect, a close walk to history, restaurants and shops. The only drawback was the proxity to railriad tracks and night time and early morning trains. This didn't bother the other guests at all but did wake me. The location was
