Quiet getaway for late summer
Posted Aug. 21, 2023 on HomeAwayMy partner and I had a lovely stay in Minetta's cabin. Beautifully decorated and has room for a couple or small family to spread out. Meals on the enclosed porch were nice, and my partner enjoyed the firepit. If you are a plus-sized person like myself, the upstairs bathroom stall is a bit narrow, but you can use the shower on the first floor.
Minetta stocks basic needs in the cabin (spices, oil, coffee). Though there is a local grocery store. I would suggest hitting up a Walmart/Target on your way up. There is also a book in the cabin with local restaurant menus and activities to help you plan things to do.
We visited the nearby Hasbrouck House for the Phonecia Flea Market and Cocktail Club offerings, followed by a great lunch at The Roost. I recommend the fried chicken and freshly made tater tots!

Modern Boho Cabin

Amazing cabin (indoor and outdoor)
Posted Jul. 5, 2021 on HomeAwayLovely three day summer getaway at the cabin- it has everything you need! We cooked, bbq’d on the grill and had s’mores at the fire pit. Comfy beds and couches, clean linens and board games! We took the hosts recommendations for a few restaurants in town and they were perfect. Also did a few hikes around the reservoir- so beautiful. We will be staying again during another season!

Cozy cabin for the holidays
Posted Dec. 15, 2020 on HomeAwayWe booked this place for the week of Thanksgiving as my sister lives down the street in Stone Ridge and we were so pleased. The place looks exactly the same as displayed online... so well decorated, cozy and close to town. We
have a 15 month old daughter so it was really nice having the bedroom and loft upstairs. We were able to put her to sleep early upstairs and enjoy dinner, wine and games by the fireplace downstairs. We didn’t get to use the outdoor fire pit because it was just too cold, but look forward to using it on future stays! The owners were very responsive and accommodating which is always nice! Overall this house was perfect for a little getaway and I highly reccomend it!
