Stayed for two nights. We arrived and there was a big party on and was clear there had been some trouble. We asked for our room to be away from the noise, which the staff were able to do. The hotel was clean, but clearly needs an update. The wallpaper was pealing in the bedroom and the shower had no pressure. We were out during the day, so didn't spend too much time there, so was okay for our trip.

ADVOID THIS HOTEL

This hotel has been left to go into disrepair for many many years. Upon our arrival is was obvious that there was only 2 members of staff across the entire hotel. 1st our room was not ready and we actually did not receive our fill complement of bedding until 9am (versus a 3pm check in). We went to the bar area to wait.... tables were filthy and the whole place was in need of cleaning, served by the same person who would later deliver our bedding to the room. We refused to eat there. Other issues include hidden charges for our dog and for me to use the gym but the worst part was the upkeep of the hotel. Comparing the hotel to the pictures I booked against the difference was stark and it is obvious to me that the pictures were staged and the hotel has not looked like these pictures for many many years.

Did not stay at this Hotel. Booked on the app and even when the app suggested there was rooms available the Hotel phoned me after booking to inform me that No rooms available. Still not received a refund or any communication from Hotels.com OR hotel. Having to claim through bank for ‘No service provided’. All reward money was used on this booking (£57.00) not returned this either. Terrible experience- it should be a contractual agreement that they provide a hotel when paid.

Ok but let down by a couple of things.

Clean room. Mostly very friendly and helpful staff. Great gym and good pool but halleay to pool and steam-room need improving. Incredibly musty small in hallway to gym from hotel.

Just a bed for a night.

Bed was terrible, cheap and nasty. I even found myself checking for bedbugs as the room didn’t feel clean. They only gave us 1 shower towel. Shower itself didn’t feel clean, very dated and water pressure was just average. Lighting in there was terrible, was almost a blue light. No aircon in the room, we was on the ground floor to had to have the window open all night to let some air in (of what little air there was) then all we could hear was people talking on the carpark all night. Staff were very friendly upon arrival, however I don’t think this hotel is worthy of 4*. Needs a full retrofit to make it up to 2025 hotel sort of standards… power sockets at bedsides etc

Do not book if you want to be clean

Room had a shower that was unusable. Barely a trickle. When brought to staff attention we were told this was a "special amenity" and meant only to be a hand shower. We also had no tv remote and just 2 channels when one was located. Room was also sickeningly warm. Asked to swap rooms but denied. Room was dusty with silverfish on ceiling

Stayed at the manor hotel for a night with my partner, we both thought the hotel was great. We used the spa and loved the discount for hotel guests. The service was amazing, the staff very helpful and welcoming. In regard to the facilities we didn’t have a shower that worked HOWEVER this was quickly rectified by the hotel desk. We had two options, 1. We move rooms or 2. We can use the shower in an unused room. They were so lovely in the situation and I had everything I needed, thank you again I would love to come back to the hotel in the future! Well worth it.

We had a good time, staff where polite are areas of concern where the place feels alittle worn, rusty bath plug shower head leaking stains of carpet leading to the room and cobwebs on windows, it felt the place needs a little TLC to bring it up to a higher level , staff where fine the waitress at the evening meal had a lovely smile the others just did the job.
