Stunning Elkhorn Retreat

Located in Elkhorn, this beautiful 4 bed 2.5 bath home sits on 2 acres and backs up to a nature preserve at the base of Proctor Mountain and the Sawtooth National Forest.

The home has been recently remodeled and includes extra touches to make your stay comfortable like heated bathroom floors, a private hot tub, multiple fireplaces throughout the home and top of the line appliances in the kitchen. The home is also setup well for family dinners or hosting, with a 7 seat dining table, kitchen island for hors d'oeuvre and serving, two dishwashers, and a full table setting with serving dishes.

Family Idaho reunion

Very nice home that lived up to our expectations. Perfect size for our extended family reunion of 5 adults and one baby. The house was clean and spacious. My daughter who did a lot of the cooking wanted me to mention that this was the best stocked kitchen she’d ever seen in any of the VRBO’s she’d ever stayed in. All the rooms were very comfortable and the master bedroom had a nice shower with a built in sauna feature. The view of the surrounding mountains was great. We also we’re visited by a passing herd of elk on the hill at the back of the house one evening which was pretty neat to see. I am a birdwatcher and enjoyed birdwatching at local hotspots such as Croy Creek Wetlands and Greenhorn Gulch. My son-in-law is a fly fisherman and enjoyed fishing in the Big Wood River just north of Ketchum and the Salmon River over the pass to the north. My daughter and son are hikers and enjoyed hiking on a number of the trails in the area. We dined out a number of times and found that there was a good selection of good restaurants both in Ketchum and Hailey 10 miles to the south.

Luxury family ski trip

This was a beautiful, spacious, and quiet property with modern, luxury-equipped appliances/amenities (heated bathroom floors, hot tub, steam shower, stocked chef's kitchen, washer/dryer, multiple fireplaces, extra linens, etc.) throughout the house. We had six adults for a family ski trip and had plenty of room to comfortably be together or to be individually secluded. Sun Valley ski resort was is an easy 12-minute drive. We particularly valued the latitude granted to us with our special requests and the easy check-in.

The place has been recently remodeled. It has excellent spaces, brand new appliances and the kitchen is impeccably stocked with plates utensils and two dishwashers. Andrew the host is incredibly attentive. We would definitely come back again.
