The Grand Hotel was a pleasant surprise. I thought the rooms were older but the fact that it was clean the staff was courteous and the breakfast was a little basic overall I would recommend the hotel to friends and family. I would gladly enjoy staying there again

The hotel was generally nice. I have been here in the recent past and it was better then. This time one of the sinks would not drain due to an issue with the stopper. The food offerings for breakfast were reduced in quality and amount this stay. Juices, fruit, yogurt, muffins all were not provided at 8:30am. Hot water was tepid. They need to pay more attention to customer service.

The power went out and we had to use our phone lights to take the stairwell down 4 flights. There were NO lights. Could not use room key to get anywhere. Not safe!!

Grand Hotel…not as nice as it used to be

I feel like this hotel is not as nice as it used to be. The breakfast was NOT good…just fruit, toast and cereal. They ran out of coffee and it took over thirty minutes to get more. They used to have eggs and bacon/sausage and waffles. Prior to that, they had an omelette bar. Very disappointed. Furthermore, we did not have hot water for our shower!

When I arrived I find out that although I had confirmation of my reservation they couldn't find my reservation. A room was found for me. The fireplace in the room was not working and the heater woudnt go higher then 68 degrees.

Central continental breakfast room with tables and couches had COCKROACHES scooping up crumbs that were left in the carpet, in the couches and ON TOP of TABLES. Come on !! ?? this hotel needs to clean up.
