Went with our teen and tween kids for a family holiday get away and it was perfect - cozy, clean, modern and so close to Asheville ! It had such a welcoming vibe and we’re so glad we got to stay here.

Loved the cabin- super clean and comfortable! The Nespresso machine and milk frother were a delectable treat. Maria was so sweet to bring us some firewood and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit. This was the perfect spot for our annual girls’ trip!

Cabin was lovely. Constructive opinions, Settling in and watching a show awkward but who comes to watch tv?? But it was easier to watched our phones together! Maybe hang tv?? I’m vertically challenged, a step stool could have been helpful. Otherwise above and beyond any Vrbo where I have stayed before!! Would highly recommend..

Great location near Black Mountain and Asheville. The cabin was only 20 minutes to five great breweries on rhe South Slope of Asheville. Would definitely stay there again. The host was very responsive to all our communication which was greatly appreciated.

This cabin was a total vibe of love and relaxation! So many beautiful details and personal touches and artwork made the stay extra special! The beds were comfortable, the home was really clean and the outdoor porch was a perfect gathering spot! The host was responsive and our family ages 10-65 all had the best stay!

Fabulous cabin!

From the initial booking to checking out on the last day of our stay, everything was perfect! Maria was very communicative and gave us excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. My husband and I took my 79 year old mother with us. She stayed in the main level bedroom and we took the lower level bedroom. So we all had our own space! It was just perfect! The cabin is super close to Asheville but you’d never know it when you’re in the cabin. I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere! Great outdoor spaces too! If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely stay again!!

Just Perfect!

Maria and Waan have done a fabulous job with this cabin. The location made it so easy to go in any direction. Close to Asheville and Black Mountain; and an easy day trip to Blowing Rock! The house has everything you could need: well-stocked kitchen with top name appliances, detergents and utensils; bathrooms have plenty of towels, soaps, shampoo, etc.; excellent wifi, and the porches are roomy and comfortable . Very cheerful decor, too!One of the key points about this property is Maria's response time to any questions. Well done! I will be back and tell friends and family!

Perfect Place to Reconnect and Explore!

Our family of four absolutely loved our 6 night stay at the Rainbow Mountain Cabin. The deck space is phenomenal, the game selection (for indoor AND outdoor use) was wonderful, and every rainbow-colored detail in the cabin made us smile! After driving from NYC to the Asheville area on a family road trip, we were thrilled with the location of this cabin. Nearly every mountain and town we explored was 20 minutes away or less! Without a doubt, we would stay here again. My children (6 and 8) were especially sad to leave! Everyone found what they needed here and we are very grateful for the experience.

Perfect Stay for Your Asheville Getaway

My wife and I stayed at the Rainbow Lodge for our Anniversary over the course of 4 nights. We were absolutely delighted with all that this property had to offer. The owners kept strong communication leading up to our stay and made checking in and out effortless. We had no difficulties, but they made it clear that they would be available in a moment’s notice if needed.Its location was remote enough to allow us to feel the intimacy of the surrounding woods and mountainside; yet it was close enough to the Asheville area that we could easily travel to any location of interest.The cabin is just beautiful. It is well crafted and aesthetically pleasing. The decor has a homey and artistic flair. The bedding was super comfortable and made for fantastic night’s sleep. It features all new appliances, clean modern bathrooms, and plenty of space. The wrap around deck if definitely the crown jewel of the cabin and offers expansive and gorgeous views of the mountains and countryside.The Rainbow Lodge was everything my wife and I hoped for when we booked this trip. We will definitely book here again when we return to the Asheville area.

We enjoyed the cabin and the scenery and going hiking in some of the parks and downtown Asheville and to the Biltmore of course. Things were very easy to get to. We only wish we had realized that the three bedrooms were on three separate levels.

Peaceful, Clean, A+ Communication

Our stay was fantastic! Rainbow Mountain Cabin is hands down an amazing place to stay. The cabin is beautiful and clean there is plenty of space to hang out on the wrap around porch. As we were putting our items away we found cornhole and Connect Four games to play outside. The wild flowers out back are beautiful to sit and enjoy, we watched the hummingbirds and the bees as we had our morning coffee. We even had the opportunity to see Stewart the black bear. This was one of the best stocked cabins we have ever booked and we loved the idea of anything that was unopened you could leave for the next guest or for the cleaning crew to enjoy. It is conveniently located, it took us no more than 20 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go and we were very grateful that the cabin wasn't all the way at the top of the mountain it had perfect parking out front and the view was amazing. To top it all off the host Maria was wonderful at communicating and helped us to have lasting memories on our family vacation.

We loved the cabin. It was close to Asheville but far enough away from the noise and traffic. The check in process was easy, the cabin had what we needed, and Maria had great communication. We even saw a bear cub in the back yard.

Cabin is set up very well- 3 levels- very clean & modern for a cabin Everything you need is there Location is great for any nearby attractions Only complaint is that the “advertised” Mountain View’s are pretty much obscured by trees. Lots of weeds around cabin. Overall, great place to stay

Perfect Retreat

The property was an ideal get away! Pictures are 100% accurate. It is well stocked with needed soaps, cleaners, paper products...plus a few extras. This was by far THE best vrbo I have ever had the pleasure of booking. I t was near every activity and a welcome private retreat to return to each evening. I plan to reurn with my teens for a future visit. The host was easy to reach and easy to communicate with if needed.

Precious cabin in the mountains

This is my second time staying at the cabin. It is just as described and easily accessible. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and relaxed. From yard games, hammocks to a wrap around porch to sit and drink coffee. The host is quick to respond if you have any questions. I will definitely be back!

Precious cabin nestled in the mountains

The cabin is just as described. It is decorated so cute! The kitchen was well stocked with supplies as was the bathroom. There is a washer and dryer on the main floor and another one in the basement so you don't have to lug dirty clothes up or down the stairs. What a pleasant surprise!! We were there during a cold snap, so we unfortunately didn't get to hang out on the wrap around porch as much as we would have liked. We hope to be able to come back during warmer weather so we can take advantage of the beautiful view. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. The cabin was easy to find and Maria was very quick to respond to questions. :)
