Great service, location - smell was an issue

Staff was great! Love the location. Rooms are a little outdated. My biggest issue was the odor in the rooms, especially in the toilets. It smelled of sewage/canal. We had to look at at least 4 rooms before settling on one that had less smell. We had to buy air fresheners.

I've stayed for more than a week (staggered days). The hotel always do not provide enough toilet paper. There is always one half roll toilet paper which is not enough. The telephone in our room was not working that we had to go downstairs to ask for a bellboy but it took the bellboy awhile to come up. So we had to wheel our suitcases downstairs. There is always issue with blocked bathroom sink plus connections of the shower needs fixing.
