Bait and Switch, May the buyer beware!

Posted Jun. 1, 2019 on Hotels
The Condo we rented was not the condo in the pictures and description. Once we saw the condo after waiting 1.5 hours in the lobby for the host's employee we left within 10 minutes as it was not as promised. I called the host and she refused to refund us our money and then asked us to find her employee to give her the keys back. I would avoid this host and condo at all costs. There are plenty of other nice places in Tagaytay. This host has several condos in this building and plays bait and switch with her clients. Then she refuses a refund. That may be the policy she set but Hotels.com needs to be verifying their hosts' information is accurate. Hotels.com did offer me a credit to make up for the lost money which was very nice of them. I would prefer they de-list this person for false advertising. Thanks for ruining and wasting my day. We did find a very nice hotel right next door and stayed there for 5 days. :-)

Nightmare @

Posted Jun. 28, 2018 on Expedia
The check in was a hassle. The front desk asked us who our contact was and when I told them we booked thru Expedia, they wanted a name which I don't have. It's because the unit owner didn't notify them of our coming. It took an hour since they have to find the caretaker. When we reached the unit, there was NO basic necessities, even just a toilet paper. The unit smells and dusty, the shower clogged. I booked for 2 nights but we just stayed a night. We moved out the following day.

We are sorry for your unpleasant stay. We are trying to call you on the day of your arrival but unfortunately, we are not able to reach you. The caretaker also waited for more than 2 hours at the lobby and thought you may have CANCELLED your booking again. Regarding the toiletries, these are NOT INCLUDED on the room reservation, but still you were provided when you requested for one. Regarding the cleanliness of the unit, it was cleaned the same day so we don't know how did this happened. You told us that you were complaining about the HEIGHT of the bed from the floor, that this is your basic complain. Let me remind you that this was VISIBLE at the time of your booking as pictures were shown CLEARLY. Just to let you know, you have cancelled bookings on June 28-30 and July 09-11 but we did give you a FULL REFUND even if we were not able to SELL the room because of your reservation.

Unpleasant stay

Posted May 15, 2018 on Hotels
Upon check-in, we need to wait for 25-30mins for the caretaker to give us the room key considering that we called them several times ton inform what time we’ll arrive. Upon check out, we need to wait for them again to give back the key since the inhouse staff in the building are not allowed to get the key. Guests need to walk few mins under the sun to get to the pool and parking area.condo lobby in tower 2 is hot, not a welcoming temp, seems the ac is not working.upon booking, the website says with 1queen bed and 1 double bed, but its just a pull out bed with very thin mattress.no wifi.no free parking.urgently needed mefenamic acid for terrible headache around 10pm , asked the staff but they said they run out of stock, my wife walked to Summit Ridge hotel and asked, salute to the staffs there, they gave us for free even we are not their guests.

It was clearly stated on the bioking engine that there is NO WIFE AND FREE PARKING. It has pictures as well on how the beds are. Regarding your headache at 10pm, please do not expect that someone will get this for you as you know that we do not have a 24 hour buttler service because this is NOT A HOTEL. For the lobby, the AC is perfectly working and you were the first to complain re the condo lobby. It is not our fault if the design of the ammenities like the swimming pool and parking is far from Tower 2. After all, the property is more than 1 hectare.
