If you just want a place to sleep go here. The hotel is old looking and looks rundown. There’s a ton of patch work in the hotel room including the staircase that smells moldy. There was nothing impressive about the hotel just a place to sleep.

Great place . A hidden Gem . Go back in time .

This is definitely a rustic place . It brought back many memories of when our kids were little and we stayed in places like this. It definitely looks as if they are trying to do some upgrades. I must say the bed the sheets and the pillows are still comfortable. It was the best night sleep I had in a long time. I loved the old feel of the spiral staircase. They definitely need to do a little maintenance on somethings . All in all I will definitely be staying there again. The staff was so polite and helpful. I have an OCD issue on what side of the room I like and I asked the young lady at the desk to move me and she didn't with a smile on her face. ❤️ My room had a nice refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. I would suggest a microwave in the future for longer stays. I'm sure it's on their list of things to do. I believe with some new furniture and lamps and a little cosmetic work this place will be popping again. Great location and they even had a restaurant inside. The food smelled so good. I will have to try it next time. The price was great and I generally enjoyed my stay. Thank you for the ride down memory lane

This property is absolutely disgusting and dirty. Mold all over the bathroom. The list is too long . This place look more like a shelter don’t let the photos fool you.

Good family stay

First, the good: clean quiet room, nice view, very comfortable mattress and pillows, we slept great, front desk was friendly and helpful, they even upgraded us to the room we wanted even though online it showed sold out. For the price in that area, I would recommend it. Lastly, a few minor complaints: It is an aged property, on the surface they take pretty good care of it, but behind the scenes it definitely shows its age. Finally, and most frustrating, there is no sign anywhere that I could see, along the road or on the building, telling me it was the right place. We drove past it once, turned around, went back, took a chance and drove into the parking lot, still no sign on the building or the window or the door, we had no idea we were at the right place until we made contact with the front desk attendant. Aaaaah! Ending on a positive note, it snowed unexpectedly overnight, but they were right on it with shoveling the sidewalks and plowing the parking lot. We would stay there again.

I believe the staff did as good as they could . Rooms are dated. Amenities are provided very sparingly. Bring your own wood fire pit.😂😂. Food staff were very good. Food was good.

I needed a place to work remotely and also wanted to do some hiking on the New Jersey Appalachian trail. This had what i needed at a very reasonable price. The facility is a little run down, very limited dining and drinking options on site. (I'm a beer/IPA snob and the closest they had was a Yuengling.) But everything was clean and worked and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There's a great brewery 1.5 miles down the hill for eating and drinking

I never like to give bad reviews specially when some of the workers are so nice but they have to train the cleaning service. How is that you clean and folded back the same dirty towels that’s just nasty. Love Debra the bar attendant Amazing. The hotel is very old and everything is falling apart. It has amazing potential but sadly maybe the owner don’t care or can’t afforded at the moment some renovations. With that being say form recommend for now.
