Villa Doride is an elegant and welcoming three-story residence which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps 11 people. From Villa Doride you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea and of the coastline. Villa Doride is 320 square meters (3450 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private jacuzzi pool, private terraces, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in the heart of Taormina, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find a number of restaurants and a grocery store at 300 meters (990 feet), the bus stop at 80 meters (roughly 260 feet) and the closest beach (Isola Bella) at 4.7 km (roughly 2.9 miles).
You will reach Villa Doride from the parking area by way of an elevator.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Doride. If you do have one, you will be able to park it free of charge inside the entrance gate. The parking space is suitable for up to three cars.

Nestled in the heart of Taormina, with breathtaking views of Mount Etna and the sea, Villa Doride is a refined private residence combining historic elegance with modern comforts. Consisting of two separate villas, this multi-level residence is accessible by way of an elevator and offers spacious panoramic terraces, Mediterranean gardens, and a swimming pool overlooking the gulf.
Swimming Pool
You will reach the swimming pool from the first terrace going up approximately ten stairway steps. The pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 8 meters (26 feet) long, 1.3 meters (4.3 feet) deep. The swimming pool has a sinuous shape. The area is equipped with sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a fascinating view of the Mount Etna and of the sea. The pool is open from the beginning of March until the end of November.
First Villa, Ground FloorTerrace 1
The first terrace is 130 square meters (1400 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by an elegant porch and by a pergola. It is equipped with small sofas and armchairs, as well as with tables, chairs, a sun umbrella and sun loungers. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the terrace you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea and, partially, of the Mount Etna.
Living Room 1
The first living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming, and include a sofa, two armchairs and a divan bed for one guest. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a satellite smart TV. From the living room you will be able to enter the first terrace through three French doors. The room also has two windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen 1
You will be able to enter the first kitchen from the living room through an access area. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and a kettle. The kitchen has two windows. Half bath 1
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter it from the living room and from the kitchen through an access area. First Villa, First FloorTerrace 2
The second terrace is 65 square meters (700 square feet) large. It is equipped with two small sofas, as well as with two sun loungers. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of the coastline.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through an access area. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a bedroom chair. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the second terrace through three French doors. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, an open shower and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 2
You will be able to enter the second bedroom through an access area. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The furnishings include a bedroom chair and a desk. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the second terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom 1
The first bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a combo bathtub with shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom through an access area.

The third terrace is 70 square meters (750 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by trees. It is equipped with a small sofa and two armchairs, as well as with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella. From the terrace you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea and of the coastline.
Terrace 4 with jacuzzi pool
The fourth terrace is 65 square meters (700 square feet) large. It features an above-ground heated jacuzzi pool with hydromassage with six seats. The jacuzzi pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October. You will reach it from the third terrace going down approximately 16 stairway steps. It is partly shaded by trees. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a lovely view of the Mount Etna and of the sea.
Living Room 2
The second living room is paved with wood. The furnishings are elegant and refined, featuring some antique pieces, and include a round-shaped sofa and an armchair. The dining table can accommodate four guests. From the living room you will be able to enter the third terrace through two French doors. The room also has a large window. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a safe.
Kitchen 2
You will be able to enter the second kitchen from the living room. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and a kettle. The kitchen has a window.
