Posted Jun. 9, 2023 on HotelsThe estate environment’s absolutely beautiful. Wild lives could be seen often, and the engineer cottage we stayed in was very nice. Services from booking to restaurant meals&drinks provisions were also done well. We wish the new ownership change will transit smoothly and all the good staff get to stay.

What can I say? The Tarraleah Estate Resort is incredibly unique! Big part of Tassie’s hydro power history. We loved staying in the school house, eating at the pub, watching the geese and kangaroos on the City square lawn, visiting the goats and learning all about Tarraleah’s history. Happy to recommend a stay there. Lots of different types of accommodation to choose from!

Access to scholars units was very awkward. No signs for room locations. Inconvenient lounge / bedroom arrangement. Tap water has to be boiled before use.
