Very interesting that they leave your room key in a lock box and have a drop box for checkout. Room was clean enough but in desperate need of updates - toilet was broken and didn’t fill properly (we fixed this), shower floor not very clean, dirty floor, sticky side tables. Clean sheets though! And the saving grace was the air conditioning and awesome creek side patio.

There was a sign in the bathroom saying not to flush toilet paper down the toilet, the door was glass and was not completely covered, The fridge and the coffee maker could not be plugged in at the same time. Otherwise it was okay

Worst experience. We were given a room of the parking lot. Bedding was very stained and dirty. Windows were painted so that no one from parking lot could see in. Everything about the experience was very bad motel vibes. our family couldn't stay in that pit for a night and left. Staff didn't care at all and you can tell that the hotel survives on passing trade and not repeats.

On paper, this looks like a great deal. It is 'fine' if you have low expectations and just need a place to crash, but anyone else should stay away. I would not stay here again. While the front desk was polite and handled maintenance requests quickly, the hotel is in rough shape and lacks basic comfort. The room was noisy due to the nearby highway and boat traffic, and the thin blinds made it impossible to sleep past sunrise. Practicality was also an issue: we had to use the coffee maker on the nightstand due to a lack of outlets, and the bed was uncomfortable. The property’s condition is poor, evidenced by a bathroom shelf that collapsed into the toilet, missing weatherstripping that allowed lizards into the room, and detailed instructions on how to avoid getting locked out. Housekeeping was inconsistent, failing to replace toiletries and providing stained, worn-out towels. With intermittent internet and a general lack of accommodation from staff, this was a frustrating stay.

Very Slight water pressure and no hot water. Had to try take cool shower with trickle of water. There is construction than they said was impacting this so they shouldn’t have charged what they did for the room! Absolutely not acceptable especially for price. They should have refund a portion of room price. Of course nothing offered. Extremely basic room. Fairly clean. They tried to paint and put updated furnishings to make it appear nicer than it was. Will never stay there again!

I wanted to like this small hometown hotel, but our room was just too dated for the price offered on the Keys. Shower went cold at random points. Additionally the TV and remote weren't connected properly (frayed wire) and after 15 minutes of messing with it we gave up. There is no point in calling someone at 9:30 @ night for that issue. I would stay somewhere else if possible.

The good- Location is perfect! Close to food (Cafe Harbor has the best smoothies.) The bar/restaurant next door to the hotel gave us a half cold pizza and raw chicken fingers. The bait shop next door has good prices for shrimp. Ate at Lido and Snappera and the food was expensive and blah. The maid was very friendly and helpful. The check in was never there and after calling twice and emailing with no response we gave up. She wasn’t friendly and seemed lazy, although she allowed some random person to use the dock space for his boat despite him not even staying at the hotel. The room needs serious help. The headboards are t attached to the walls. The tv has two channels. The nightstand table was sticky and the clock face fell off when we attempted to turn it on to set it. The toilet had zero pressure and took forever to fill up after one flush. The coffee maker was broken and when I used to the first time it leaked water all over the place. The bed pillows are awful- Bring your own. There is one light sheet/comforter to keep you warm. Bring a blanket. The floors were dirty and no hair dryer in the room. I probably won’t be staying here again unless I absolutely have to.

The room was ok. Smelled very strong of bleach. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows flat. The door to our room had a very loose knob and had previously been pried open. There were boats in front of our room limiting the view an access to the creek. Part of the walkway next to the creek had collapsed however it was marked but needs serious repair work immediately. There was only a sheet and bedspread on the bed. There needed to be a blanket as well. One staff member came by and took a picture with their cellphone through the open door to our room while we were in there. Not sure what that was about but made me very creeped out. Could have been taking a picture of the door or something but they should have told us what they were doing.

There was a used bar of soap left in the shower, and the coffee pods were left in the bathroom. It looked very quickly cleaned and thrown together.
