"The cottage was cute. The amenities were not as advertised. We also had to dispose of our trash at a dump at a cost! The host was very persistent that we call him to get instructions on how to enter the cottage, and I had to explain multiple times that my phone couldn’t connect the call. The host eventually explained the house instructions via messages, which wasn’t complicated at all. Check out instructions were only available via the VRBO app, and there is no wifi. This just made it not as smooth. The location was close to some activities we had planned and the neighborhood was quiet."
