Great staff

I was very happy to find this motel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they were very welcoming to me and my dog. I would go there anytime I would go to NJ.

The placed was very unpleasant, and it has really bad odor/smell in the hallway as well in the room. I am contacting the city to make a complaint because I request my money back to leave the place but they

They turned me away because they couldn't even check me in because their internet was down. I did go into the room before they decided to boot me out. It was very very rundown, the TV didn't work and obviously, neither did the internet

Possibly the worst motel I've ever been to

I failed to read the reviews before staying here. If you're reading this, you can still save yourself. This is clearly a place that has done the bare minimum to stay in business. Yes, it has a bed--but it's basically just springs over fabric and blankets that are so thin you can see straight through them. Yes, it has AC, but it's covered in something that looks like mold. Yes, it has a bathroom, and it has been (partially) cleaned by someone, but not so much that it feels clean. Yes, it has a door, but it doesn't close flush, so it can't keep out bugs. I felt gross staying here. I got in close to midnight, so it didn't occur to me go somewhere else right away. I tried to sleep--and mostly failed--until about 6:45. Then I immediately booked a different hotel for the next night and checked out as early as possible--even though I had already paid for another night here. The owner/teller redirected me to Expedia to get my money back for one night (and presumably free up the room for them so they could rent it again). I couldn't find any phone number to call and was too tired to hunt for it. Now that I got home and read the reviews, I'm also terrified that I might have bed bugs. I threw out my backpack and suit case. To be clear, I didn't actually see evidence of bed bugs, but I'm so skeeved out from everything else that it's driving me crazy. I had stayed at Motel 6's before--a long time ago--and they weren't great, but they were manageable. After this, never again.

I don’t leave negative reviews, but need to warn people of this property. The pictures are not accurate to the reality of what it is. My son and I came down on a Friday night for an early early Saturday event. We checked in at 10pm & should have left after seeing bullet proof glass at the desk This property needs to be bulldozed. There is no rehab that could improve it. The external areas are dilapidated. The room itself smelled of pot smoke & vinegar, and was by far the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in. The floor was a filthy sticky. Bathroom tiles & fixtures were dirty or broken. Switches and outlets were painted over. The room looks like it was painted by a toddler. Management will apologize and promise to do better, but for $145/night it was an unreal experience. My son and I woke up to barking dogs at 4:30 a.m. and were gone by 5. To management: Stop apologizing. Invest in the property, demolish it or sell it to someone who will.
