Terrible experience at this property. Did not receive the room that I booked. I had booked a room with a queen bed and was given a double bed. When I arrived there were sheets missing from the bed. I eventually found them hanging in the closet and they were damp. Sadly, I had to use these damp sheets to make the bed . There was dry glue coming from some of the floor panels and the towels and bathmat were stained with the same colour floor glue. The walls in this room were not fully painted and it was very noticeable. The kitchen cabinet pot lights would not turn off. I had to stand on a chair and go into cabinet above stove fan to umplug the cord. In my years of traveling I have never experienced anything like this. This room was in a horrific state and should have never been given to me or anyone to stay in. It was nothing to what the pictures on the site showed. It was if I was staying in a rundown cheap motel, yet paying a hotel price. If you are considering staying at the RS Suites - Eaton Centre you will be making a big mistake. I had talked to three different representatives on the phone during my stay and they kept telling me someone from the finance department would be getting a hold of me to see how I could be compensated. Sadly, no one ever did.

My experience at this property was completely unacceptable. Despite having a confirmed booking, I was assigned three different rooms throughout the night, and none of them had keys available — the keys were missing from the lockboxes. I was left stranded for over two hours late at night, unable to access any room, feeling unsafe and exhausted. Throughout this ordeal, the property staff refused to communicate or assist. It wasn’t until Expedia intervened and offered to move me to another hotel that I finally received a response. The following afternoon, a staff member came to my door to change my room yet again, which I refused, as I had lost all trust in the property’s management. This experience showed a complete lack of organisation, accountability, and basic guest care. I strongly urge Expedia to review this listing carefully, as this property fails to meet even the most basic standards of safety, service, and professionalism. The business refuses to compensate for the lack of room and left up set.

The baseboards were broken and a pile of old baseboards beside the washing machine. The paint on the walls was in bad shape. The towels were still wet and in the dryer. Overall disappointed by the overall appearance and cleanliness. Instructions could have been better with the key and fab. I couldn’t get into the hallway this morning to put back the keys.

The location was wonderful. Everything is within a short walking distance. The room was very clean can use a fresh coat of paint in the future. The response / communication was the problem. Messages went unanswered. Had to call to obtain check in details. Furthermore upon arrival key was not in lockbox. Had to call back 3 times even though I was told that I would receive a call back in 5 minutes. It actually took one hour from the moment I was told we could check in (after I called) to the moment we got in the room. Again the room was great. The issue with this property is the lack of communication

Disappointed with our stay. While the room came mostly as advertised, our main concern was that the window in the bedroom was broken and could not closed, and the screen easily removable. This was a giant safety issue for us as our 2 year old was going to sleep in this bedroom, and this room was on the 43rd floor. Couple of minor things like laundry being in the washer and dryer, and prior client old bags left under furniture as well. Overall would not book here again.

First of all, this is not a hotel but a condo building. Not the end of the world. Issues started when I arrived to an unmade bed with linens on the floor and dirty towels in the bathroom. The sink was also pretty gross. It was clear that no one had cleaned the room after the previous guests were there. I spent my first two hours there cleaning (from 12:00am-2:00am). The people running the place were very rude and dismissing. After my stay, I accidentally left some clothing items which the cleaning person sent me pictures of asking if they were mine. I said yes and asked if we could arrange a handoff since I was gonna be back in town a few days later. I got ghosted and they kept my stuff. This clearly would not have happened in a hotel…. Very disappointing experience and definitely do not recommend this place. Also… the area is super sketchy and there are some questionable characters at the very footstep of the building. Did not feel safe at all.
