We are extremely disappointed with this rental property. The listing advertised the property as an entire home, but upon arrival we discovered that there is a tenant living downstairs and the laundry room is shared. We were under the impression that all VRBO's are renting the entire home which is false. This means the tenant has potential access to the entire property when we are not present, which made us feel unsafe and misled. Upon returning to the property after being out for hours, one of the bedroom lights was on which was 100 % turned off when we left, and my personal lap top seemed to have been tampered with. The lock on the door where the apartment is, had a lock from our side but it was broken. In addition, the condition of the property was terrible• The front steps into the house were very uneven and dangerous, no outdoor lighting, smoke detectors did not work, several other lights did not work, the size of the beds were misrepresented (No King Bed), the TV did not work, inadequate and broken pots, pans, utensils, ice maker and water in fridge were locked, uncleanliness, stained towels, loud music and noise from downstairs tenants. We booked this accommodation under the impression that we would have full privacy, safety, and a properly maintained property. Unfortunately, this is not the case, and the reality does not match the description or quality promised in the listing. We would like to hear from VRBO and get immediate assistance in correcting this situation.
