Residences suite was huge, essentially a full size 1 bedroom apartment. Safe was large with room for a large laptop. Access to the residences building was a bit confusing at first with the way the elevators work, but once you figure it out it's fine. I think their system was down when I was checking in, so it took a while, but the staff at the check in desk were kind and helpful.

Soho residences was the perfect place to stay for TIFF. When you stay in the residence part of the hotel you get your own apartment with kitchen. My apartment was full of light and everything I needed even a nice view. When I arrived at midnight, I didn’t like the original room I was given, but they moved me to a nicer one down the hall. The original one had the bed pushed up near the closet so that I couldn’t roll my bag into the closet. The one they moved me to was slightly bigger and had better flooring and just a better overall vibe. They were super nice about the change and everyone was great the whole stay.

Checked in early and our room was not ready but held our bags until the room was ready. Once we returned after check in time our room was still not ready and they offered some compensation for the inconvenience. Staff were really nice and greeted on arrival. The hotel is super close to the Rogers Center, CN Tower and union station. Will rebook again if possible.

The check-in, staff, suite, location and amenities were all top notch. Walking distance to Rogers Centre and CN tower. Parking on site and many excellent restaurants within blocks of the hotel. We would highly recommend SoHo Hotel Toronto.
