Smokehouse cabin

Interesting place. We rented a cabin which had a wood burning fireplace and a hot tub. Unfortunately it had rained for days when we showed up so the wood was all wet and the hot tub was out of order. Would like to go back someday and try again.

Very disappointed

We picked this because of the ratings and the pictures of the rooms. It was run down.. rooms are in need of refurbishing. Lighting was terrible, in need of tlc.. no amenities at all.. The hot water for tea was cold and the coffee was stale at 7 in tue morning. Save your money and go somewhere decent

Some areas I felt weren’t very clean. The sink faucet was not clean at all. The toilet paper hadn’t been changed to fresh roll. There was something on the wall above the toilet paper. The mini fridge had water standing in the bottom. The room was outdated and the air conditioner, on auto, ran without stopping.

I had peace and quiet while staying here. I’m a truck driver and my truck had to be put in the shop nearby and I landed here for a few days and it was exactly what I needed with no issues whatsoever.

Could use some updates.

The staff are very polite and willing to direct for places to eat eta. When we got into the room it was very dark, gloomy. There was peices of looked like playground wood chips as soon as you lifted the blankets between the sheets. There was hair on the towels folded on the wall near the sink. It was conveniently located not far off the expressway.

One of the most efficient air systems in the room, that I’ve seen. Very user friendly and efficient. Rooms could use some love. Overall clean, but door was filthy and lock was broken.
