Villa La Ginestra, private villa with pool

Villa La Ginestra is a comfortable villa sleeping 11 in the North of Umbria, ideal for families travelling together or a group of friends. From the house, one has a wonderful view over the Upper Tiber valley.

The vacation villa La Ginestra is situated North of Perugia, 6 kilometres from Umbertide. Enjoy the beautiful, wide views over the Tiber valley in an unspoiled and quiet setting. There are 6 bedrooms and three bathrooms. Originally, the villa was built with three separate apartments. Between the villa and the pool, you will find a reading room with comfortable sofas.

The pool has beautiful views over the green Umbrian hills. It is 12 by 6 meters and between 1.20 and 1.50 meters deep. The pool terrace has recliners and umbrellas. The pool terrace is surrounded by lavender and other herbs. The pool area has been completely fenced. There is an extra outside toilet, not far from the pool. Here you will also find a washing machine.

The vacation rental has one covered outside sitting area in front of the house under some old trees. There is a second covered sitting area at the side of the house, on a slightly higher level.
You will find a barbecue and nice flowers in pots. The garden is well-maintained and green. The road is totally tarred up to the last 50 meters.

The vacation villa can host a maximum of 11 guests. On the ground floor is an apartment with a spacious kitchen fitted with an oven, refrigerator, small dishwasher, a 4-burner gas cooker, and a dining table. There are two bedrooms, a double with a bathroom in the room and a twin with a bathroom in the hallway.

On the first floor are a living room and a second, smaller kitchen with a small dishwasher, oven, 4 pit gas cooker, and a small fridge. On this floor are four bedrooms. Two on one side (one double and one twin) sharing a bathroom, and two more on the other side, a double bedroom and a single bedroom sharing a bathroom.

The vacation villa has old wooden beams. It used to be a typical Umbrian farmhouse and has been restored, using traditional materials.

A dog is welcome, one pays euro 50 in cash extra. The grounds are completely fenced.
Use of the heating is charged based on consumption: €6/m3.
There is no air conditioning, but each bedroom has a fan.

Paradise!

Villa La Ginestra is a slice of paradise nestled in the heart of Italy. The villa's beautiful location provides a serene escape surrounded by stunning natural scenery. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home with its warm, inviting atmosphere and authentic yet cozy decor. The grounds are simply breathtaking, with lush gardens that create a peaceful retreat. The private pool was the star of our stay, providing endless hours of relaxation and fun. A special mention goes to Giacomo, the diligent maintenance man, who cleaned the pool every morning to perfection. His father also contributed greatly to the villa's upkeep, ensuring everything was immaculate throughout our stay. The exceptional hospitality extended beyond routine maintenance. Giacomo and his father came to our aid when we got locked out, and they even helped us print some important documents. Their kindness and willingness to assist made our experience even more memorable. Our time at Villa La Ginestra was nothing short of fabulous. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of a well-cared-for home. It’s a truly magical place that we can't wait to visit again!

Complete tranquility and plenty of space

A fantastic location, a superb large pool sheltered from the breeze, with an expansive view over the valley and hills. The agents were great providing plenty of information, the owner couldn't have been more helpful. The pool was cleaned early every morning, and was crystal clear with no chlorine odour. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, nothing missing except only one work surface electric socket. We could sit in the garden or beside the pool and there was absolutely no sound of human activity, just the butterflies and birds. The perfect base for relaxation between visiting the multitude of wonderful towns and villages of Umbria.

Toller Urlaub

Sicher kein Luxus-Haus, aber gemütlich und sauber. Einmal wöchentlich wird das Haus gereinigt und es gibt frische Wäsche und Handtücher. Unbezahlbar aber ist der Garten und der Blick vom großen Grundstück ins Tal und auf Umbertide. Der Pool wurde jeden Tag in den frühen Morgenstunden, unbemerkt von uns, gereinigt. Die Abende am Pool mit der traumhaften Gartenbeleuchtung und dem Blich ins Tal werden wir vermissen.

Traumhafter Pool mit genialem Ausblick

Wir hatten das Haus für 2 Wochen gemietet und waren bereits beim Check-in begeistert. Alles total unkompliziert. Das Haus ist das Grundstück sind der Wahnsinn. Einfach nur zum wohlfühlen. Der Pool übertrifft alles. Groß, viel Platz außen rum und ein sensationeller Ausblick auf die Umgebung. Täglich wird nach dem Rechten gesehen und der Pool gereinigt sowie nach dem Grundstück geschaut. Alles völlig im Hintergrund. Bis nach Umbertide fährtan ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Auch der Kontakt mit Saskia von der Agentur verlief perfekt. Wir hatten 2 wundervolle und entspannte Wochen und können das Haus nur empfehlen.
