"We stayed on the external section of the resort. It was quiet and you could access the other parts of the resort quite easily. The room was clean. The only qualm we had was there is only one bathroom so it was difficult to get everyone showered and ready for bed after a long tiring day at the parks. There are no other shower facilities nearby. The front desk was very helpful. This was the perfect location for base camp to Universal. There is a walking path to the park, a little less than a mile which can get you quicker access through security. There is an option also along the footpath to go to the Sapphire hotel to take a boat ride to the park. The pool was nice. Checked out the gym which was ok. There was a lot of space in the gym but equipment was a bit sparse. Not enough cleaning wipes spread throughout the space but overall it served it’s purpose."

"I had a great overall stay at Westgate Resort and Spa. The property itself was excellent—the facilities were well maintained, the restaurant was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. There was one hiccup involving tickets that were sold to us for Sea World and Aquatica, where an issue with ticket required us to return to the resort to have it sorted out. Unfortunately, that ended up taking most of our day, which was frustrating. Aside from that inconvenience, everything else about the experience was very positive. One thing to keep in mind for future guests: the timeshare presentation runs significantly longer than expected, so plan accordingly. Overall, despite the setback, we still had a very enjoyable stay."

"I won’t ever stay at the property again. I am going to go public about the ambulance being called for me and did I mention it was my birthday and it was the staffs fault. The walls are paper thin the water runs all day and night can’t sleep because it these old AC units even when turned off will run and it makes a weird noise. They do not come every two days to clean , that’s a lie and the shuttle doesn’t come like when they say on the paper and don’t ask the lady with the glasses that looks pregnant she has a nasty attitude with everyone like we chose her job and made her work in customer service. I had an allergic reaction to the food after telling staff I was allergic to something they put it on anyway and instead of remaking it they took it off and gave it back and I had an allergic ambulance was called and all great way to spend my birthday right. Haven’t heard from corporate or anyone. If I do not I will be calling my lawyer because I do have witnesses and their numbers "
