Unreliable shuttle to Epic

We were here for 2 nights and chose this hotel for their free shuttle to Epic Universe. We were told that the shuttle would pick us up at 8:35, so we were waiting at the shuttle pick up area at 8:20am, just to be safe. It didn’t arrive until 9:10am. Just because it’s free, doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s worth it to stay here. My husband and I were surprising our kids with a visit to Epic, and we lost that crucial first hour of the park opening, because of the late shuttle. The room was filthy and we won’t be staying here again. The only positive is the location.

Multiple people were smoking (weed/cigarettes)on the pool deck making it unusable for my asthmatic husband. No towels on the pool deck were available. Chairs were gross and uncomfortable. In our room the AC was on the other side of the wall not letting much air to where the bed was. Bed was awful, there were multiple things leftover from the previous people including deodorant and clumps of hair on the floor. Room was dirty. We also indulged in their cafe and got burnt cardboard pizza, overcooked wings, and a dry flat bread. Will definitely not be coming back or recommending.
