Hands down, the best hotel experience of my life was at Delta Orlando Lake Buena Vista, all thanks to Area Director of Sales Mikalla Tillman and team. When my son got sick, Mikalla went above and beyond-arranging everything to make him comfortable and welcomed. Then, she found out it was my birthday during our ten-day stay, and somehow made it unforgettable with surprises I never saw coming. Clean Room, Front lobby staff was great. I have lung cancer and requested a room away from others due to my coughing. I didn't want to have others hear me coughing. Outstanding breakfast buffet. A popular fully staffed Bar area. Nice pool area just an Outstanding stay! Will return and stay there the next time I'm in Disney Orlando area.

We were given room 720 which is up against the elevator. It was a long travel day and checked in around midnight. You could hear the elevator ALL night you would hear the clunking and thud noises almost every 30 or so seconds. I almost went down to complain but it was late and my 5 year old was not having it. I had to put on white noise on my phone for both of us and a PM Tylenol for me. I mentioned it to the front desk and they said they’d pass it along to the manager. Terrible room with nonstop noise.

Almost got it right

The rooms are always great but the hotel front desk cannot get the check-in process correct. The last two times I had stayed have been an adventure and not a good one at check-in. This last time, they took a while to find a 1 bedroom suite, which I specifically paid for. Then once I was given the room key and went up to settle in, we received a call that we were given the wrong room because housekeeping had not cleared that room yet. So we had to collect all of our belongings and go down to first desk to get new keys. We did not even get an apology. Need to do better!
