The experience at Plaza Hotel was horrible. First, they put us in the wrong room that was dirty with twin beds instead of our two queen beds. We then asked, and they fixed it. So now we had a room that was adjoining with another room that at night the people were partying in. We tried to call and got no answer all day and night. When we approached them about this, their excuse was that the phones must not be working. At night, ohhh, be prepared for this: the roaches come out in the bathroom. We tried to get a refund from Expedia, who also tried to call the Plaza Hotel, and to this day, no answer. This is not a child-friendly hotel, especially for where it’s located.

Weird old room smell, remote batteries dead, barely warm enough shower, fridge that doesnt reach sub 40 degrees, charging me for parking (just roll it in to the room cost, nobody wants to be nickel and dimed), parking far from elevators, overpriced average food in lobby ($24 breakfast buffet lol)

Not updated. Breakfast buffet was dirty with bread leftovers on the tray and we found hair there! Soundproofing is extremely weak and you hear all noises in the room thinking the people are inside the room! Restaurants food quality very minimal. It is an acceptable 3-star hotel. As a frequent traveler, I do not know how they got 4 stars.

Definitely could hear noise from other rooms. They put me right by the ice dispenser which was loud. The bed and pillows were ok. But overall, the staff was helpful and friendly, the distance to the convention center was extremely convenient, and the property was clean and nice.
