The hard pergo floors in room are certainly easier to care for and probably cost effective. But in small rooms with little sound absorption they are echoey and loud. Walls, baseboards, closet doors are beat up pretty well. Also didn’t know that first gen LED tvs actually lasted this long. The stand was so weak the screen only sat tilted.

Was never told they now have a $15 per night parking fee, even if you are staying there. We have stayed there many times and was never charged for that. Pretty crappy to not disclose all mandatory fees up front!

The lobby was a clean, friendly desk attendant. I told them about the issue i had getting to the hotel. And the different numbers i call only to get people that were not on the site. She explained to me that there are 4 other Quinta hotels in the area. She right away knew where i had called. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

We found a cockroach in the bathroom

We stayed at La Quinta by Wyndham Orlando Airport North and honestly, it was not a good experience. The property feels very dated – the elevator and rooms are clearly overdue for upgrades. To make matters worse, we found a cockroach in our room. When housekeeping came to “help,” it was obvious this wasn’t a surprise to them; the cleaner had bug spray ready and acted like it was just another day at work. The manager, Paula, was extremely rude and unhelpful. We asked for a late checkout, and instead of offering even a small courtesy, she demanded $30 extra and insisted we pay immediately before 11am – while we were still in our pajamas. Not exactly the customer service you expect when traveling. Overall, between the pests, outdated rooms, and poor management attitude, I would NOT recommend staying here. There are plenty of better options near the airport where you’ll get more respect and a cleaner room.P
