Was busy at check in. Front desk clerk was by himself. Finally another female clerk came to help. He asked if I need the shuttle service to the airport and I told him no, “we have a rental car!” We went to our room to put our stuff in it. We lowered the air conditioner down 1 degree and it start making noise like there was a plastic bag in it. So we turned it back up 1 degree. This morning we went to leave and had a notice on our rental car saying that we didn’t have a parking pass and could be towed! When I went to the front desk to check out, I handed it to the same clerk that checked me in! He then informed me I didn’t ask for a parking pass! I then reminded him he offered a shuttle ride to the airport and I declined since I had a rental car! He then started to argue a bit and then started to fill out a parking pass. I then reminded him I was checking out! He then said “then have a good day!” As he rolled his eyes.

Airport shuttle was hard to locate and took 40 mins to arrive. Driver was ok but reception staff had limited knowledge of local area and there was no hot food available to purchase near the hotel. The man did not seem interested in helping. Hotel ac in our room was very noisy and everything looked worn, the door frames and door were chipped and battered and didn’t feel secure. There was no plug for the tub or sink and reception not able to get one. We requested a taxi to get back to airport but a private car arrived to collect us and we had to give others a lift. We were charged $45. I will learn to ask before traveling next time but we were aware how much a taxi should be so didn’t ask. If we were due to be there more than one night, I would have changed to a different property.

Due to flight delays we ended up flying all night. Between flights I called the hotel to let them know we wouldn’t be arriving until early morning to shower and sleep for a few hours before check-out. I had already been charged for the room. The first 2 times I called I was hung up on. They said it would be up to the morning shift whether there was a room for us or not, even though I’d already paid, because the reservation would be canceled if we didn’t show up that night. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were gone. I requested a refund if they weren’t going to hold a room for us but they said that has to go through hotels.com. After almost 10 minutes I finally convinced him to at least leave a note for the morning shift explaining that I had called but still no guarantee we’d have a room. I called Hotels.com but they couldn’t reach anyone at the hotel to confirm my story so they had to escalate it and said it would be 24-72 hours. Meanwhile, we had to make other arrangements bc I wasn’t going to pay for an Uber to a hotel (we would arrive outside their shuttle hours) that may or may not hold a room I’d already paid for after unexpectedly flying all night long and then have to find another alternative and have to Uber to the next place. Very disappointing experience all around.

With unfortunate circumstances we had to stay at this hotel if there was an option for 0 I would. When checking into the room we noticed bugs crawling around inside the shower and on the counter. (Video proof) went down to the front desk and got another room and came back up and had black mold around the bathroom and mold behind the toilet. No hot water and bed sheets and towels had staines like they weren’t clean. Had to buy blankets as I didn’t wanna sleep on them. I will say that when it was time to go to the airport the transportation driver didn’t show and the front desk lady called us a uber to make sure we got there which was amazing best part of the stay by far. Tried reaching out for some sort of compensation and was unsuccessful with the property management.

The night desk person hates his job, can not smile or say hello…. The parking is a bit of a pan on the behind as it’s not really near the door. The elevator is dingy, old and takes forever! The rooms are outdated but the were clean. Breakfast was simple and ok… good location.

When checking in they were using a loud carpet cleaner in the lobby. Instead of turning it off it stayed on right behind me. Hard to hear the clerk.Even gave them a look. Was charged $30 US for early check in. Came off a cruise ship. The wifi in the room was awlful. Couldnt even order a uber in the room. Was on 2nd floor. We continued to have issues with the wifi. Would cut out with in minutes. I know a granddaughter isnt happy. Only one of two doors opened for bathroom. Lovely to ram your shoulder at 3 a.m because of the narrow opening. Had hot water turned to max. for showering.Temp slightly hot. Used the shampoo provided, didnt even make a lather. Pillows were not comfortable. Shower heads are old. I definitely would not stay at this hotel again. I feel i should get a refund for the early check in as with traveling for 6 weeks access would have been nice and just made things frustrating. I did not pay the early check in fee to sit in a lobby for wifi access. I plan on writting to tge main company as this should be a refund. Not a credit a refund to my credit card.
