"This property is one of the best places to stay at North Captiva! It had all the accommodations we wanted for our family and more. We enjoyed the pool, games to play at the pool area with outside picnic table and refrigerator for taking a break to eat. We loved the widow’s lookout, and plenty of spacious bedrooms. There was ease of open living space and the kitchen design was easy to work in with lots of countertop space, Having two washers and dryers located in the middle of the home and operating side by side is basically a must when you are staying somewhere with a beach and pool. Our host Lacy had all this ease of living design figured out for this place. The location on the North tip of the island we actually loved because of the feel of more quiet and private for our family. We did go when not all the houses were filled around us though. But that made a wonderful experience at the beaches for open nature beach walks and shell discoveries. I love how this island is family friendly and quiet, low key with friendly people all enjoying the island together. I suggest before you come, look at all the fine print details of rules, accommodations, and what the logistics are to settle a vacation here. We did shally for perishable groceries delivery and packed our own shelf stable items into totes for the boat commute. Be ready for exercise with lots of steps inside this house and come with an openness for adventure and experiences. Go with it! Host Lacy and Shally’s are great!"
