Come relax and enjoy the fresh air in this Vacation Villa located inside the Grand Bear Resort. (PRIVITE OWN, INDEPENDET FROM GRAND BEAR RESORT, No Water Park Passes are included)
This beautiful 2-story home is decorated with rustic log style furnishings. The generous 1,800 square foot Villa sleeps 8 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, comforting fireplaces, televisions, a patio, 2 balconies, washer/dryer, kitchen & dining area.

The kitchen is complete with all major appliances dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, single cup coffee maker, toaster, dinnerware, eating utensils and basic cookware. To maximize your rental experience please consider bringing any special items you may need. There is a 24 hr convince store located inside the resort lobby, should you forget something.

-The Master bedroom features a king-size bed, pull out twin sofa sleeper, fireplace, TV, private vanity and whirl pool tub.
-The Second bedroom features 2 queen size beds, TV and balcony.

Cabin was clean and well stocked with everything needed for a pleasant stay. My only recommendation is to bring your own shower products, as there aren’t any soaps/shampoos provided. But overall excellent value and we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you.

Property is well maintained and clean. Its by a resort and felt safe. Within 15 minutes of awesome hiking trails. Easy to contact the manager. Quiet. Many furnishings. Tons of room. Beds were firm; on par with motel. Some doors didnt work properly. Highly recommend this place.

Great location and stay

Very close to Starved Rock and some cute small towns we enjoyed exploring. Unit was very comfortable and large enough to spread out. It was nicely furnished and equipped.

The place is really big and a great place to stay. Near many hiking trails but there are not a lot of places to fish or swim.

Super spacious and clean home, beautiful tranquil area with lots of green play space for kids/pets. Had somewhat of an issue getting timely info for check-in; it was added stress to have to contact the host with just a couple hours to spare. Also, the outside of the structure seems to be in disrepair and not all that safe in spots. However, the wonderful unit overall made up for it and it really provided a nice place to just rest.

Great Villa

This villa is exactly as described in the listing, maybe better! There was so much room for our family to spread out. The bedrooms were as large if not bigger than most double queen hotel rooms. Our 15-month granddaughter had so much room to move and enjoyed honing her stair climbing skills. Ha! The beds were very comfortable! Someone else mentioned the coffee maker in their review and yes, it is lacking-took at least 30 minutes to brew a pot of coffee. Bring your own laundry supplies if you plan to do laundry as there weren't any supplied. Both bedrooms share the upstairs bathroom, but there is a full bath downstairs. Otherwise, it was a terrific place to stay, close to everything and very peaceful! We would definitely stay here again if we went back to the area.

Great Place to Stay During the Off-peak Season

My husband and I stayed here in late April because it was so close to 3 State Parks. The place was nicely decorated and big enough that we could have brought the kids and grandkids,too! Martin was quick to respond to questions we had before we arrived and we didnt need to contact him with any problems during our stay. If you choose to stay here,you will have a well-equipped kitchen if you want to make some of your own meals. You will need to bring basics like plastic wrap or foil. We were pleased with how quiet it was here,but I'm sure it gets very busy during the summer months,as it is in the middle of a resort. Beds were comfortable and the spa tub felt great after a long day of hiking.

Had everything we wanted. A jetted tub and fireplace in the master bedroom. Right next to starved rock state park. Lots of wonderful canyons for hiking. Lots to do for kids if you bring them.

Great place to stay

We had a great stay here. There are so many places to sleep- it’s deceiving for a 2 bedroom. It’s very spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. Jacuzzi was a hit with the kids. Loved that the location was dog friendly. Beds were comfortable. The sheets were not washed in a heavily scented detergent which made me so happy. Comfy beds. The fireplaces warm up the rooms well. 4 min drive to starved rock. Quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was great. We loved the house it was exactly as described. The owner was very responsive and easy to reach. The property was nice and easy to find. It had plenty of room and all the necessities you could need. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.
