Sally at the front desk was so helpful and communicative. When I missed her message she went out of her way to leave me a note on the door. The apartment fit the 6 of us really well. We had 3 adults and 3 children. While the kitchen was a little small it had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner each night. Proximity to the gondola is very close. You walk down two sets of stairs and you are there. maybe 3 to 5 mins depending on how fast you walk with your gear.We would definitely stay here again.

Condo in an excellent location, but aging amenities. Wi-Fi was broken the first day, and the second day they gave us a different Wi-Fi to connect to. Sink in the master bathroom was broken the first day, this was fixed the next day, but we were told to be very careful with it. Hot tub was broken on the second day. We did get a small discount for the final problem.

Great experience

This is a well maintained rental. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and we enjoyed the ease of the short walk to the gondola, restaurants, and shops. Will definitely consider this again. I may have missed this in the description, but there is a trundle bed in one of the bedrooms, so sleeps 7 without needing the kids to share a bed, which was a plus.

Great location for Lionshead Village

Was here with 3 other friends for a 4 day ski trip. Unit was super convenient- easy walk to Lionshead Gondola with ski storage on site, and a discount at Vail Ski Tech (strong recommend for your equipment). Unit was clean. Kitchen was great - lots of stuff to cook and eat in if thats your speed. Bathrooms good use updating, but showers were hot and had good water pressure which is all I really care about. Would definitely stay again!

Special note to the staff who were amazing-going above and beyond to be incredibly helpful and accommodating. Truly some of the best customer service I’ve ever encountered. I do want to send a note encouraging some renovations though...this condo complex is in a spectacular location and some of the units are lovely!! However, there was a mix up w/ our original booking and we were not placed in the unit we booked online. Instead we were in a larger but VERY run down unit. I would happily sacrifice space for a renovated unit. The front desk worked with me to change to a more updated unit and we were very happy. However, the original unit (308) needs some easy and not terribly expensive renovations desperately!! They’ve changed out the carpet to LVP which is great but REALLY need to change out the living room furniture and get rid of some of the heavy bedroom pieces. I write all of this hoping it is helpful because again, we ended up being VERY pleased w/ our stay at Westwind and will certainly recommend to friends...just being mindful of which unit we book in the future.

Very memorable stay at Westwind!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great extended stay in condo 407.It is a very spacious 3 BR condo. Although not a "new" condo, it is super comfortable and was clean as well. There are two full bathrooms. One in the master and one upstairs. The upstairs has two bedrooms. One has two twin beds and the other has a bunk bed with a pull-out trundle for the third bed. We stayed in the summer, and although there is no AC in the unit, most of the time it is fine. When temperatures are above 80, it gets warm in the afternoon and early evening hours. You need to learn how to maximize the use of the bedroom fans. Very few condos have AC in the area. The location is A++, right in the center of Lionshead and close to everything. The staff are SUPER friendly and really try to help and make the stay as good as can be. There is no washer dryer in the unit, but there are machines in the parking lot. The kitchen is pretty well stocked and newer than the rest of the apartment. There is a BBQ in the court yard as well as a fire pit. There's also a pool and a hot tub and a very small gym with an elliptical. I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to help future guests get a feel for the unit as well as the awesome staff.

Nice Condo in Lionshead village, top floor, but there's an elevator and ski locker downstairs. Beds were very comfortable, large living area to spread out. About a 100 yard to the gondola, very east access to the village. Bus stop to vail village very close.

Great location, condo. Fix heat!

Great location. 200 steps to gondola. Nice setup with ski lockers, Pool and hot tub. Only complaint was the heat was constantly running with thermostat at 70, pushing the temps to 80+. Called maintenance a couple times. Could t fix it. Slept with windows open.
