Platinum Units are Worth the Expense

Excellent location in Lionshead, 3 minute walk to gondola and ski school, clean, friendly staff, good value. Our family of 5 stayed in three different units over the past 6 weeks. Platinum units are very spacious and updated, gold units are smaller and a bit dated.

Condo at Vail -opening day ski season 2015-16.

I stayed at Westwind Condos for 5 days and nights. Condo was reasonably priced and comfortable. Condo staff was friendly and helpful. Condo had everything I wanted -gas fireplace, kitchen, hot tub, WiFi, and proximity to Vail gondola. Building was well kept up and cared for. Place was clean and attractive. Heated parking garage was a nice touch,

This condo was basic and well-equipped. It was clean, easy to access and within walking distance to everything.

Nice, but dated hotel right in Lionshead

The hotel has a great location. We could easily walk to the Gondola or to the free Vail Bus Service. We had a two-bedroom suite. The master bedroom had a comfortable king size bed, a closet and plenty of drawers. You could specially tell the age of the building while looking at the bathroom. It seemed clean but during the whole week there was hair in the bathtub drain. The other bedroom had two single beds. The living room had a sofa bed with a very thin and used mattress that was ok for my 4-year old but would be horrible for an adult. We also had a full kitchen with nice enough appliances, silverware, plates and glasses. There was no additional cost for parking, wifi (Netflix was also included) or basic cleaning (beds were made, trash was picked up). We also tried the outdoor hot tub, which was very clean. All personnel was very friendly and nice.
