Central location
Posted Apr. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayPerfect location to walk to our concert. Discovered wonderful nearby restaurants on foot including Tokyo in April, Chambar, Marugame, and MamaLee. The Chinese grocery store on location had prepared hot foods including chinese bbq, wonton soup, congee; a wide variety of fresh baked treats including Portuguese egg tarts and fresh mango sago. So we never had to cook. Gorgeous city view and of Grouse Mountain. Garage exits to Costco. Seawall nearby for running, walking, biking. Comfortable beds. Unfortunately, no coffee grinder. But will pre-grind my coffee for next time. Our host, Ashley, seemed to read my mind and reach out to me before i could ask my question. Detailed directions on check-in and parking access. Will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great clean apartment

Posted Sep. 3, 2023 on HomeAwayIt was clean good location comfortable beds. We were glad to have parking available, however it is set up for medium sized vehicles we had rented a truck and it was a challenge to park .

Family trip to Vancouver
Posted Aug. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayExcellent location to walk around Gastown, Chinatown and downtown. Train station is close by. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a parking spot, but the parking is very small and not easy to get in and out with a larger vehicle.

Close to Gastown and Chinatown
Posted Jul. 6, 2023 on HomeAwayThe property has a ton of great food close by. There’s an Asian market across the way and plenty of restaurants. I was in Vancouver 10 years ago and the state of homeless and mentally challenged has grown exponentially. They seem relatively harmless to others but be careful. Costco is close and people are super friendly. Food is fabulous and there’s so much variety. Vancouver is walkable but I found myself using Uber quite a bit as it was HOT this week. Overall, great location for access to transportation, Gastown and the Harbor. We booked a tour to Grouse Mtn and Capilano Suspension Bridge. Highly recommend—educational and beautiful.

My family and I (6 adults in total) had a short stay here (4 days, 3 nights). Prior to arriving, I had a ton of questions and I messaged the owner several times and she responded quickly.
PROS:
(1) The check-in and check-out process was easy.
(2) The condo was exceptionally clean.
(3) The condo had every amenity we needed (i.e., iron, ironing board, dishes, thick towels, utensils, toiletries, washer, dryer, and even cologne and perfume!).
(4) There was a king, queen, and twin bed in the 3 rooms (with 2 full bathrooms), and the owner provided an air mattress as well.
(5) The pillows and blankets were comfortable.
(6) The air conditioner cooled the condo quickly.
(7) There was a small, but nice patio (with an amazing view of the Harbor Centre Lookout Tower!).
(8) The downstairs spa and pool were spacious, clean, and heated (and they had a working sauna too).
(9) The building was very secure and we felt very safe.
(10) The condo is in the PERFECT location--Rogers Arena, Chinatown Train Station, BC Place Stadium, Theatre, Chinese Garden, etc.).
CONS:
I can't really identify anything wrong with the condo per se. I suppose the only observation I had was that there are a bunch of people addicted/using drugs on the streets, but that has nothing to do with condo or owner; just the reality of Vancouver.
OVERALL, I would definitely stay here again and actually, we're planning a trip with our young kids in the near future. I can't imagine that there's a cleaner condo!
