"The hotel overall was great. Staff was super. They are going through renovations so there was a bit of a mess as to be expected. The ice machine was broke but the front desk provided ice. The breakfast area was out of coffee one day but they replenished next day. Room was clean. Once the renovations are done it will be great!"

We talked to other people who had stayed at other local hotels and were told that some hotels did not alter their hours to accommodate this important event (the train ride to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States). Kudos to the Doubletree in Newark, Ohio."
