Not worth the price…

About 30 min out they called and said the room I prepaid for was being remodeled. Asked if I would be ok with a King suite rather than the 2 Queen beds I reserved. I said sure as long as we had a pull out bed available. Room appeared to be nice. Pulled out the couch bed for my daughter and the mattress was blown out. Springs were sticking through and mattress was flat. Like a deflated air mattress. I asked front desk if we could get a different mattress or some extra comforters and she gave me a sheet, thin brown blanket, and a pillow with half the stuffing missing. It was terrible. I had to go and buy an air mattress from Walmart for $50. I wasn’t gonna let her sleep on that pull out and she surely wasn’t gonna sleep on the floor. I paid extra money to stay at this hotel thinking it would be one of the nicer ones in the area but I could have paid half the price somewhere else and gotten the room I had reserved. This place was overpriced and not worth the $100/+ I paid for it. I was very disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. I cannot apologize enough that things happened the way they did and for all the inconveniences this caused you. With the renovations we are getting all new furniture so things like this don't happen again. As for the front desk not getting you more than a basic pull out set, I will definitely talk with them, they should have done more for you. Again, I am so sorry for your poor stay with us. We are usually much better than this.

Everyone at this property was great. The front desk was helpful and the room was clean

There was mold in the ice bucket in our room and mold in the shower. The tiles in the bathroom did not have calk so when stepped on them, tiles moved which was unsafe in using toilet and shower. When told front desk, said the response was the property would be renovating soon - not addressing the situation.

While there are times things like this happen, it does not excuse it at all. I wish you would have said something to the front desk as soon as you noticed these issues, we would have definitely changed your room and made sure that things were better for you. And, although it seems like another excuse, we absolutely are going through renovations now to fix all of these issues. Again, I am truly sorry that your stay with us was like this. If you are ever in the area again, we would love for you to give us another try to see us at our full potential.

Nice & Clean

Breakfast was amazing. Room was clean. Bathroom could use a little update but nothing that would stop me from staying again

At check-in we received the room furthest away from the elevators on the top floor and then, we discovered that the TV did not work. So, we had to move to the room next door. Also, these rooms had curtains which would not close to prevent the parking lot light which was at the same height as these rooms from shining into the room. I suspected, we received these rooms because the Expedia discount was significant. However, the room was clean; the staff friendly; and breakfast was excellent.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we did. I'm sorry to hear that you had a couple issue while with us but that the staff was able to help at least with some. The blackout curtains for the windows are located behind the shear curtains not the ones in front. I'm sorry for the confusion, I know that must have been extremely frustrating. I am happy to hear though that the rest of your stay and interactions with staff were all good. I hope this does not deter you from staying with us again. We appreciate you and hope to see you again soon.
