Stay at Minlacowie B&B
Posted Mar. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayWe stayed at this B&B over the weekend of our daughter's wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had our little dog with us and she was able to have the run of the place. This was the reason we booked here in the first place and we do not regret it. Highly recommend.

Posted Aug. 24, 2023 on HomeAwaya quiet retreat close to Port Pirie and Crystal Brook , has cats and kittens a slight problem if your dog dosent like cats, freshly layed eggs every morning bacon , tomatoes and bread that were supplied. charcoal BBQ i whipped up and left for the next people to enjoy, overall we had fun

Suited our needs for a getaway
Posted Oct. 12, 2022 on HomeAwayNeeding a break, booked into the accommodation as we could bring our dogs.
Extremely well stocked for breakfast and all the comforts of home. Lots of personal items in the house if you don’t mind sharing their lives with yours. Communication with Peter and Robyn was great.
New area for us but found it limiting with things we like to do, dogs loved it though.

A Great and Quiet Place
Posted Sep. 16, 2022 on HomeAwayWe have had a wonderful week here, the house was just as listed and very comfortable. There was milk and other provisions when we arrived and wood for the fire.
At night it was dark and quiet - the occasional train was really all we heard!
We look forward to coming back to stay again - a perfect country escape.

A great place to stay

Wendy was a great guest, left the property pristine, wouldn't have known a dog had been at the property!

Lovely farm stay
Posted Jul. 31, 2022 on HomeAwayPeter was a very hospitable host. The house is a lovely old farmhouse with lots of collectables. It is, however, badly in need of refurbishment and a thorough clean. It was also extremely cold in the bedrooms. The location was gorgeous - just south of the Flinders Ranges and 15 minutes from Port Pirie. All I all, a most enjoyable stay.

I'm a bit mortified by your comment about the cleaning as we have the house cleaned professionally.
I will call you to follow up on that.
I note that the heaters were not re-positioned in the bedrooms. My apologies. You will have missed them.
We are big fans of electric blankets, which we have on all the beds so I do hope you sampled those.
