The hotel needs some updating but everything was clean and the people working there were friendly. The bed was quite firm and the tv was a bit dated but everything worked as expected.

There was no toilet paper holder. The showerhead was very dirty. The walls were cracked, and the cabinets were peeling. The mini fridge was left open when I entered the room. It was made very clear that room service would not come to the room unless requested, but they knocked on the door every day at 8 AM.

First of all, i know there may be a shortage of employees however when you only leave 1 employee for the overnight shift, you need to reduce their tasks so someone is near the front desk almost at all times. Yes there was a sign that stated the receptionist was near but doing other tasks, pick up the phone next to the computers. Well i did that multiple times. Still had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to show up. No one should have to wait that long. On another note, the room appeared to be cleaned, but after you start looking, it really wasnt that cleaned. The tray that the ice bucket and cups sit on was very disgusting.

Excellent Choice for a Waxahachie Visit

The front desk staff was very welcoming. The lobby area was spacious, has plenty of natural sunlight, and welcoming overall. The room was in excellent condition, spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff member cooking the breakfast, intending to the breakfast buffet was attentive and helpful.
