My room was very old and the smell of bleach made me sick. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I tried to cancel this because I needed a handicap room. This room is outdated and disgusting. Upon checking in, the girl could not find my reservation. I was told I would pay at the property, but they told me that Expedia already took the money out. I was truly dissatisfied. I will not be booking with Expedia anymore.
The the ice bucket disgusting
This was the area where you are supposed to hang your clothes
Couldn’t even see the TV because it was so low when we were laying in bed
Couldn’t get in the bed because it was up against the sliding glass door on the other side

DISGUSTING. My husband and I attempted to stay here and it was the ONLY place we have ever checked into and immediately checked right back out. Stains on the carpet, scratched up ruined furniture, wires hanging all over the tv, stains on bedding and shower curtain and a bug on our dresser. It gave me the creeps and bed bugs are real! I was not taking a chance, the price was great, but it wasn’t worth it.

This dresser was disgusting: needs to go in the trash!
What happened on the top of this and why would someone think it looks fine?!

The king sized bed was squeaky and lumpy - appeared pretty old. The box springs had stains as did the carpet The location is good -but it was a 12 stair flight of carpeted stairs up to the second floor. Ask to see the room before you decide to stay.

We booked this location for a 2 night midweek getaway. It's conveniently located with great restaurants nearby and a Hannaford grocery walking distance away. The price was very reasonable for in season accommodations. The property is always locked and you need your key to enter the building, with only room access via main entrance (didn't matter to us, but felt important to note). This is an older building and fairly basic, but our room did include a larger sized mini-fridge and microwave. Clean and safe, we would definitely consider staying again, especially considering its right on Route 1, so convenient to attractions and only short highway drive to major destinations like Old Orchard Beach, Portland, Freeport and Kittery. Parking on site. Has Free WiFi, but there's excellent cell service and we found our cell with unlimited data was much faster

I didn’t like the dirty towels with hair on them. The tv didn’t work right. Wicked musty smell in the room. Room was really small for the money. Hot water took for ever to get to shower could see around the door to the room everywhere. Bathroom vanity the finish on the counter was separating

The room was weirdly decorated- the mini fridge was on a soft stool/bench. There was a sock instead of a light bulb in the socket above our bed. It smelled like curry and an old basement in the stairway. The shower got clogged and took forever to drain, even after we complained. At least they cleaned the bathtub the next day, as it was filthy from the drain clog. We ran out of toilet paper, without any extra in the bathroom (luckily, I had Kleenex with me). At least the bed was comfortable. The sheet and towels were clean too.
